Assignment: Night Shift

The finance analyst is responsible for collection, organization, interpretation, analysis, recording, documentation, and dissemination of complex data sets. The candidate will process and reconcile  accounts and general ledger related transactions with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, customer service and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The candidate will provide support and be part of the US Finance team.

• Support the Finance and Accounting related activities and operational matters with financial impacts, including periodic reporting, cash funding, business updates, invoice processing, ad hoc reporting, cash management, etc.
• Work collaboratively and develop strong relationships within the Business Unit, with operational executives, and with managers.
• Research and resolve premium, claims, and cash discrepancies between Program Administrators and/or Arch policy issuance systems and Arch Accounting System
• Reconcile financial results on a periodic basis (monthly and quarterly) for both P&L and Balance Sheet in order to validate the accuracy of financially reported results.
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure all transactions have been properly recorded.
• Perform financial analysis, general ledger account reconciliations, and generate key reports.
• Utilize information from third parties and Business Units to report financial results and create and record technical journal entries needed to support the accounting for the business units.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual Statutory reports.
• Provide assistance, reconciliations and other support as required for internal and external auditors.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting as required by the department or other business units.

Responsibilities: 

• Ensure that the company complies with local statutory and regulatory requirements of BIR, SEC, PEZA, BOI, LGU. 

• Main point person during compliance audit with BIR and LGU. 

• Conduct or direct the internal investigation of compliance issues. 

• Helps maintain records of all financial transactions ensuring accuracy and completeness. 

• Consult with corporate legal counsel as necessary to address difficult legal compliance issues. 

• Collaborate with Human Resources, Payroll, Legal, Finance and other departments to ensure the consistent implementation of compliance practices. 

• Liaise with government agencies for compliance completion. 

• Ensure that company’s policy and procedure is align with to-date regulations. 

Assignment: Night Shift

The Sr. Accountant will prepare workpapers, journal entries, and reconciliations for selected programs. The senior accountant will have ownership over the economics for their select programs ensuring accuracy.

• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Prepare and monitor program economics for select programs including monthly program entries, reconciliations, and cash application.
• Provide technical support to the Finance Teams (AP, AR, Bank Reconciliation, Claims Payable, Reporting).
• Support quarter-end and year-end close processes, expense allocation process and any internal reporting for the Group.
• Provide leadership and drive for quality and accuracy.
• Help with ad-hoc projects as required

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preparation and timely submission of management reports including reviews and analysis.
• Extensive knowledge of Billing in a shared service setting, Accounts Receivable process and Payroll preferably within BPO setting
• Reviews, prepares, and posts journal vouchers related to payroll, AR and collections and ensures related party transactions are reconciled.
• Oversee client’s account reconciliation, revenue, cost allocations and monthly accruals.
• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory reports and compliance with BIR and DOLE.

• Maintains payroll information by designing process, procedures and systems, directing the collection of data, calculation of statutory deductions.
• Maintaining payroll information data entry, collate and review payroll inputs and review calculation
• Assist with handling employee queries regarding payroll and other related matters
• Preparing reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leaves and non-taxable wages (payroll register).
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, especially those that relates to audit and closing of books.
• Assist with other duties as required.
