The UW Operation Manager leads and directly manages the team leaders & staff for the Ceded & Captive Re Ops team with a focus on production levels, service level agreements, quality and process improvement. This position utilizes re/insurance & data expertise along with LEAN principles and methodology to continuously enhance customer experience while maintaining a positive and engaging culture. The role will work closely with onshore management providing ongoing feedback & reports.

The QA Manager will oversee the software quality assurance testing process responsible for improving the quality, consistency and reliability of software product deliverables. This role will establish, manage and communicate software QA practices and procedures and coordinate software product testing processes. 

• Partner with product teams to develop, implement and manage processes to ensure that software products meet required specifications for quality, functionality and reliability prior to delivery
• Establish and maintain quality assurance standards, procedures, and policies
• Establish and maintain an automation testing framework.
• Coordinate all aspects of QA testing for software product releases
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives

• Leadership: Lead the Quality Assurance team and provide strategic direction to the development teams, driving quality through automation.
  • Oversee their execution and provide the necessary training, resources, and guidance to perform rigorous testing procedures effectively. (e.g., designing and implementing regression, functional, and integration test scripts).
• Quality Assurance Strategy: Develop and implement QA strategies.
  • Evaluate manual testing processes to identify defects, analyze test results, and evaluate improvements leading to automating those processes.
• Test Planning and Execution: Create and review test plans, ensuring adherence throughout the project.
  • Craft detailed QA plans, establishing testing protocols, and setting performance benchmarks that guarantee the reliability and consistency of outputs.
• Automation Expertise: Responsible for envisioning automation tools including defining capabilities and features, working with the engineering teams in the prioritization, delivery, and deployment of these tools.
  • Leading initiatives aimed at advancing automation, performance testing, and other advanced QA practices.
• Quality Analysis and Process Improvement: Collaborate with teams to execute test plans, including automated and manual tests.

We are looking for an experienced International Payroll Manager to oversee payroll processing across diverse international jurisdictions. Reporting to Payroll Shared Services, the International Payroll Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of payroll operations. This role entails various responsibilities, including vendor management, comprehensive data collection and analysis, oversight of Workday HR/Payroll records and integrations, payroll accounting, and share-based payroll reporting.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for the company headquarters in Bermuda and other international locations, ensuring meticulous accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
• Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements (SLAs) for all outsourced payroll to guarantee punctual and precise processing.
• Support projects relating to the creation of new legal entities and payroll implementation with outsourced vendor.
• Handle payroll inputs, including employee data, absence tracking, and benefits information.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, assuming the role of a subject matter expert on international payroll matters, to address inquiries, swiftly resolve issues, and provide guidance and support to team members.
• Manage pension contributions and funding, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and timely processing.
• Ensure accurate payroll accounting entries in Workday Financials and Great Plains, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Coordinate payroll reporting of equity and ESPP transactions, including stock options exercises, restricted stock vesting and semiannual ESPP purchase periods.
• Remain updated on international payroll regulations and compliance requirements, effecting necessary changes to processes and procedures.
• Provide substantial support during internal and external audits, including the preparation of documentation and responsive actions to inquiries.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to contribute to the success and continuous improvement of the Payroll and Equity Operations function.
