Shift: Night Shift

The BI developer will be responsible for the development, delivery, and maintenance of business intelligence applications and solutions. The position will include ongoing project-based development work, the delivery of scheduled reports, ad-hoc report development and enhancements, and day-to-day support of existing applications and reporting solutions.

The BI Developer works in all phases of reporting application development including design, installation, configuration, physical and logical database design, performance tuning, writing stored procedures and triggers, maintaining security, troubleshooting, providing advanced support. The BI Developer will support multiple application environments.

Qualified candidates must be highly knowledgeable of design and administration best-practices. Extensive hands-on experience is required. We are looking for a person who can solve problems and work independently. The ability to translate user requirements into a design which facilitates user access/reporting is also critical.

• Perform analysis, design, development, and testing activities in support of enterprise reporting, Business Intelligence, and data analytics solutions across a wide range of business and operational functional areas
• Assist with the design, development, and deployment of next generation data warehouse and tools to support long term information delivery and data visualization needs.
• Build and administer Microsoft PowerBI pre-production environments,
• Own the development and ongoing maintenance/enhancements of business reporting systems
• Design, develop, test and implement scheduled report deliveries, utilizing automated delivery capabilities.
• Design, develop, test and implement scheduled data integration (ETL) deliveries.
• Write complex SQL queries to implement performant data integration and reporting solutions

Shift: Mid Shift

The Data Engineer III develops, implements, and maintains data & software solutions that enable business operations to realize company goals and objectives. The incumbent performs complete end to end SDLC including analysis (data analysis), design, coding, debugging, testing, and support of software applications. They will be assigned to develop new data integration and transformation, software applications/systems, enhance/upgrade existing systems or provide production support. They work independently on projects of increased scope and complexity.

• Design and implement ETL processes for data transformation and preparation
• Deploy machine learning models to production environments
• Manage data pipelines for analytics and operational use
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across multiple sources and systems
• Work in an Agile software development team to deliver new data ETL solutions, software and to maintain and support past and future solutions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with the Agile Program Manager (APM), Digital Product Manager (DPM), Business Systems Analyst (BSA), Quality Assurance Analyst (QA) and other Developers to clarify and refine requirements/user stories
• Translate user stories into engineering artefacts and complete software development work, which includes application design, coding, code review and testing
• Keep team and APM apprised of progress
• Works with data & software development peers to ensure that the engineering realization is in accordance with Enterprise Architecture principles and software development best practices.
• Work on performance tuning, code optimisation, refactoring, automation and DevOps (CI/CD) implementation

The data analyst is responsible for collection, organization, interpretation, analysis and documentation. The candidate will provide analysis, will process and normalize the data to ensure data integrity and will create queries, views and reports. The candidate will provide support and be part of the US Corporate Underwriting Compliance team. 

• Analyze information in ISO, NCCI and independent bureau circulars 

• Maintain and update various databases on Sharepoint 

• Extract and organize various reports from Sharepoint  

• Upload documents and filing approvals to ImageRight 

• Submit state filing via System for Electronic Rate and Form Filings (SERFF) 

• Gather information and supporting documents required for state filings 

• Tracks approvals of state filings utilizing SharePoint 

• Process vendor invoices 

• Add and update users and producer information in Oden Policy Terminator 

• Interpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing task or project reports

Shift: Night Shift 

The role is responsible for supporting all monthly and quarter close activities for Corporate Companies, which is incorporated into Arch’s consolidated financial statements. The primary functions include maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial reports, performing financial variance analysis, and account reconciliations. 

• Maintain the general ledger activity for multiple corporate companies, which includes recording operating expenses, preparing accruals, and validating GL coding for Accounts Payable postings.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet and expense account analyses including detailed reviews of expenses and ensuring appropriate accruals are recorded.
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly and quarterly operating expenses variance analysis for multiple periods and provide concise insightful commentary.
• Analyze and explain quarterly balance sheet movements.
• Analyze quarterly operating expenses for 35+ cost centers, including how those costs get allocated to affiliates.
• Participate in the quarterly preparation and distribution of intercompany invoices to affiliate subsidiaries. Work with operating entity customers to explain the charges, including variances over periods.
• Support the delivery of accurate and timely services and reporting to affiliate client companies.
• Work on special projects including inactivating GL accounts, fixed asset subledger projects not limited to retiring fixed assets with zero book value, etc.
• Track legal, audit and other expenses.
• Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures, updating documentation as needed.

The IT Resource manager oversees resource planning and optimizes resource utilization across the Strategic Analytics organization. His/her expertise in IT resource planning and management will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient delivery of projects and achieving organizational goals. The ideal candidate possesses a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.

• Analyzing project demands, resource availability and constraints to develop effective resource allocation plans.
• Collaborating with project managers, department heads and stakeholders to understand resource requirements and develop viable resource plans.
• Developing and implementing resource planning strategies to align resource allocation with project demands and organizational goals.

The QA Engineer executes manual and automated testing by writing scripts and creating automation scenarios for repeated execution. Using different automation tools, the QA Engineer will design, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions.

• Works with the Agile Program Manager (APM), Digital Product Manager (DPM), and Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to document and plan test cases for regression, Integration, and automation test plans and test cases.
• Writes test automation scripts (i.e. Python, Java, Java script, C# etc.)

The candidate will process and reconcile finance related transactions with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, customer service and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The candidate will provide support during mid shift corresponding to UK EST working hours and be part of the Finance team.
