The data analyst is responsible for collection, organization, interpretation, analysis, scrubbing, documentation and dissemination of complex data sets. The candidate will provide analysis, will process and normalize the data to ensure data integrity and will create queries, views and reports. The candidate will review, input reinsurance submission data, set up the Property pricing models, create a comparison to the expiring contract wording, and document files in the directory after business is bound. The finance analyst is responsible for collection, organization, interpretation, analysis, recording, documentation, and dissemination of complex data sets. The candidate will process and reconcile Travel and Accident accounts and general ledger related transactions with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, customer service and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The candidate will provide support and be part of the Travel & Accident US Finance team.

• Support the Travel and Accident Business Unit for Finance and Accounting related activities and operational matters with financial impacts, including periodic reporting, cash funding, business updates, invoice processing, ad hoc reporting, cash management, etc.
• Research and resolve premium, claims, and cash discrepancies between Program Administrators and/or Arch policy issuance systems and Arch Accounting System (Harry III and VOPs).
• Work collaboratively and develop strong relationships within the Business Unit, with operational executives, and with managers.
• Reconcile financial results on a periodic basis (monthly and quarterly) for both P&L and Balance Sheet in order to validate the accuracy of financially reported results.
• Perform financial analysis, general ledger account reconciliations, and generate key reports.
• Utilize information from third parties and Business Units to report financial results and create and record technical journal entries needed to support the accounting for the Travel & Accident business.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting as required by the department or other business units.

The Reinsurance Accountant will assume responsibility all aspects of accounting for assigned reinsurance contracts. 

• Verification of underwriting data for quota share and/or excess of loss contracts
• Maintain the accuracy of premium information on excess of loss contracts including endorsements, premium adjustments, and cash allocations
• Maintain all aspects of quota share programs including bordereau reporting and posting, claims payments and cash allocation
• Monitor, and maintain within 90-day threshold, aging of accounts receivable
• Liaise with brokers, claims department and underwriting department regarding queries, outstanding receivables, and premium adjustments
• Complete underwriting system monthly close including testing of system accuracy for hand off to financial reporting team (ARL and Somers

The Business Systems Analyst II is responsible for collaborating with the digital product managers (DPM), business system owners, and users to capture the right business requests and accurately translating them to specifications that aid design, coding and testing of complex software and/or data warehouse applications within the organization.

The incumbent performs a liaison function between the DPM, business users, software engineers and QA analysts for implementing software solutions in order to accurately realize business goals.

1. Work with the business users and DPM to accurately capture all stakeholder requests and translate them into system specifications which typically include functional, non-functional, user interface, reports and external interface specifications.
2. Work with software engineers to ensure that the engineering realization is in accordance with the business specification.

The Senior Internal Audit (IA) Data Analyst (DA) will primarily be responsible for leveraging data analytics and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Arch’s internal audit / SOX work and continuous monitoring efforts. The candidate will also have responsibilities in addressing ad-hoc analytics requests, which may come from the IA Leadership Team. The candidate may also support and participate in audit / SOX work. This role reports to the Manager of Data Analytics in Internal Audit.

The ideal candidate will be located on the East Coast.
