In this position you will join our Infrastructure business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of infrastructure projects - from rural access roads to complex freeways, toll roads, system interchanges and water security.

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

• Advance knowledge or Expert in 12d or OpenRoads Designer
• 3+ years of industry experience as a road designer using 12d or OpenRoads Designer
• Geometry Design, Geometric Design, Geometric Road Design, Road Design, 12d, Highway Design, Interchange Design, Intersection Design, Transport for NSW, Transport for New South Wales.

What will you do?

Exploring and conceptualising creative solutions from the concept to final design and production

• Participating in creative critiques during the creative process
• Provide visual communication solutions that are on time and cost-effective to the business.
• To complete all graphic design work in support of Aurecon’s brand function.
• Provide bid support for the global Winning Work team.
• To provide video production support to the Multimedia Designer.
• Active participation within the Creative Team across Aurecon.
• Develop brand material in alignment with the Aurecon Identity Guidelines.
• Supervision/management of design projects as required, experienced in managing and presenting to stakeholders/clients.

What can you bring to the team?

Experience and Expertise

• 7 years minimum of visual communication design experience
• Strong English communication skills
• Excellent technical skills. Must be highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite design applications (print and digital).
• Experience in Premiere Pro and After Effects is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with the ability to convert design outputs into Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with global businesses under limited supervision.
• Strong typographic and layout skills.
• High sense of urgency and accuracy.
• Sound time and project management with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Good understanding of the digital communication space including social media platforms.
• Creative/lateral thinker with an understanding of the visual execution of a brand in a variety of applications.
• Candidate should include their very best work portfolio
