We are searching for a Photo Editor to help bring our brand’s story to life through stunning visuals! In this role, you’ll be essential to our creative team, ensuring that each photo is beautifully edited and aligns with our high-quality standards across digital and print formats. You’ll also be in charge of retouching images, managing our digital assets, and supporting the team in staying on track with timelines.

What you'll be doing:

Photo Retouching and Editing

1. Retouches photography assets for digital and print needs, which include complex digital composing, clipping, color correcting, and liquifying, among other skills.
2. Executes complex edits to meet specific branding and design requirements; supports ongoing marketing efforts and integrated marketing campaigns.
3. Exhibits expert working knowledge of Photoshop, Lightroom, and/or Capture One, including but not limited to: layers, color tools, and white balance.
4. Coordinates with creative partners and/or external vendors to execute photography from pre-production to post-production while meeting tight deadlines
5. Manages multiple projects at any given time and maintains organization during the process.

Digital Asset Management Coordination

1. Assists in organizational needs, which include inputting metadata and keywords, working within templates, specific cropping, resizing, and exporting for cross-functional sharing.
2. Uploads imagery to the digital asset management tool, including inputting metadata, tagging information, curating photo collections, and organizing assets for cross-functional team use.
3. Troubleshoots missing/incorrect website imagery.
4. Remains accountable for daily timelines using shot lists and designated project management tools, tying to our annual roadmap schedule.

The Senior eCommerce Merchandiser (Contract) Reports directly to the Senior Manager, eCommerce Merchandising and is responsible for assisting in the formulation of online merchandising plans, providing direction and overseeing the execution of these for Balsam Hill’s International websites.

Online Merchandising Planning

1. Shares in the development of site merchandising plans for various onsite content including site navigation, landing pages, homepage, product pages and more, to support new assortment and project strategies.

3. Reviews and collates test cycle metrics, including test progress, test results, defects found, overall testing status and potential risks, and reports to project stakeholders.

As a Regulatory Compliance Analyst at Balsam, you'll lead our charge in upholding data privacy regulations and delving into requests. as well as staying updated on regulatory changes. You'll conduct comprehensive research, ensuring our compliance initiatives are robust. Your role is pivotal in safeguarding our data integrity and security through monitoring, QA, and guiding our compliance strategies. Your insights will shape our approach, significantly impacting our regulatory compliance efforts.

What you'll be doing:

Data Privacy Requests

• Manages and coordinates the processing of each data subject request to ensure its resolution and closure within the required deadlines.
• Processes requests internally and externally by coordinating with the appropriate functional team process owners and vendors via email, Slack, or Zoom calls as necessary.
• Sends timely updates and responses to data subject rights requesters for any possible timeline extension of request processing.
• Maintains the data privacy request tracker, vendor list, and reports such as request volume status, closure rate, issues, and challenges.
• Recommends processing improvements based on gathered information through actual request processing and document sourcing activities.

Data Privacy Laws Monitoring and Field Research Assistance

• Assists in providing regular updates to the legal and regulatory team with the latest news with respect to the development and enforcement of the data privacy and security laws in the EU, US, AU, and other jurisdictions relevant to the company and its businesses.
• Assists in regularly monitoring the current practices in the industry, including but not limited to the use of cookies (e.g., banners and consent), tracking technologies, data subject request processing, etc

Technical Coordination Assistance

• Serves as the data privacy team’s technical coordinator to the technology, data insights, and operations teams.
• Conducts quality checks on the company’s systems and processes involved in data privacy request processing to ensure compliance with data privacy laws, in consultation with the relevant internal system owners (e.g., data retention in various database platforms after data anonymization/pseudonymization)
• Reviews and audits existing internal and vendor processes and technologies to help mitigate data privacy vulnerabilities and prevent potential future privacy risks.
• Assists in investigating data breaches and incidents and works closely with the Senior Compliance Manager in drafting internal and external data privacy breach/incident reports.

What we’re looking for:

• College graduate of any course.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including the ability to send comprehensive, coherent, and accurate responses to requesters and instructions to internal and external contacts. Collaborative, friendly, balanced, and inclusive when communicating with cross-functional teams.
• Any related experience to at least three of the following, with a preference for (1) and (2):
  1. U.S. and European privacy laws and data subject request processing
  2. Customer communication through email
  3. Project Management and Documentations Tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
  4. Cross-functional coordination
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy with the ability to thoroughly understand which type of data subject right the customer is requesting to exercise.
• Comfortable in working through a task via electronic means (e.g., email, chat, and task management applications).
• Ability to open, track, manage, and move to complete customer cases.
• Advanced computer skills: using MS Word, MS Excel, Managing emails, Slack, etc.
• Able to present information in forms, tables, and spreadsheets.

• Good time management skills (e.g., ability to prioritize).
• Ability to have phone/web conferencing calls in the early morning or evening with team members in U.S. as necessary.

• Determines drop dates and circulation forecast.
• Ensures team receives circulation input, prospect signoffs, and results on time.
• Schedules and leads catalog kickoff meetings to ensure accuracy of drop date/page count calendar and that vendor data is delivered on-time and accurately.
• Creates matchback schedule.
• Updates matchback calendar on Confluence.
• Creates QR code requests.
• Creates coupon codes and checks for accuracy.
• Sends info for LDC paper signoff & LOL file approval.
• Manages catalog drop date/page count calendar, including creating version codes and inkjet messages. 
• Manages squinch process.
• Manages implementation of digital catalog.
• Manages seed list.
• Manages ad hoc requests such as Postal Appends project.  
• Coordinates with eCommerce and Creative teams on end dates.
• Manages requestor page with eCommerce.

Catalog & Direct Mail Budget & Expenses

• Creates cost forecast and ensure accuracy of expense metric.
• Manages expense metric, flags issues, and makes recommendations to pivot or preserve expense metric when applicable.
• Works with Marketing Leads on Revenue Build-Up, create vectors and projections as needed.
• Tracks invoices, provides summary of costs and COGS.
• Approves invoices and submits to Accounting.
• Sends postage estimate to Finance for payment.

Catalog & Direct Mail Operations

• Manages & executes day-to-day catalog & direct mail operations
• Leads weekly catalog meetings.
• Manages meeting agenda and follow up action items.
• Takes and distributes meeting notes to the team.
• Point person for questions and giving updates to cross-functional partners.
• Daily point person for all vendors.

Catalog & Direct Mail Data Management, Reporting, & Analysis

• Business Data
  • Ensures data from the Data Insights team is delivered on time and accurately.
  • Analyzes data including A/B tests, draws conclusions, and shares with the broader team.
  • Builds performance reports and presents business reviews.
  • Creates discount analysis for planning and analysis.

• Vendor Data
  • Ensures accuracy of FTP Connection.

Vendor Management & Communications

• Main point person for all vendors and other external partners.

What you’ll do:
