WHAT IS YOUR ROLE
You will play a critical role both for our office-based employees and in helping to support our remote team members. You are someone who asks questions, is confident in not knowing everything, and is excited about learning something new and applying that knowledge to help your colleagues. You are crisp and detail-oriented, but able to work outside of the boundaries when necessary. The Senior Manager, IT provides leadership, guidance and strategic vision for our IT, Information Security & Compliance teams.

WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Technical Leadership
- Expertise in IT infrastructure, including networking, cloud computing, and data management.
- Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Ability to oversee and integrate DevOps practices into IT workflows.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity principles, risk assessment, and threat mitigation.
- Responsible for enterprise tool selection and evaluation in coordination with segment representatives and IT architecture standards
- Effectively administer, manage, and operate tooling platforms and environments to meet needs. Implement and support tool implementations and upgrades.
- Establish relationships and communicate tooling needs and tooling capabilities
- Strategic Planning
- Implement IT best practices and align Boldr’s IT infrastructure with current and future business goals
- Designing and implementing long-term IT and security strategies aligned with business goals.
- Provide a stable, consistent view of team activities and resources –key metrics for continuous improvement
- Budget management for IT and cybersecurity initiatives. Operate within sustainable limits that support high-quality, high-value results
- Compliance and Governance
- Responsible for maintaining our PCI, SOC2 and ISO certification as well as any other certifications that may be required
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, PCI DSS).
- Ability to develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Conducting and responding to IT and security audits.
- Risk Management
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Incident response and disaster recovery planning.
- Business continuity management.
- Communication and Leadership
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for explaining technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Competence in creating, delivering, and communicating service management training and end-user training
- Scale up and manage the IT team to meet the needs of our growing company, while fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Ability to strengthen and enhance customer satisfaction through timely and efficient processing of requests
- Experience in mentoring and developing IT and cybersecurity talent.

YOU HAVE…
- 8+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years experience as a people manager
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Security, or equivalent work experience
- CISSP or Equivalent to fill Information Security Lead requirements
- Cybersecurity Knowledge
- Penetration testing tools and methodologies.
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM) frameworks.
- Operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
- Experience in managing both internal VPNs and Networks
- Google Cloud / Google Workspace, Google Enterprise IT support experience,
- Industry-specific regulations and best practices.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and COBIT.
- Data protection laws and standards across multiple jurisdictions.
- Expertise in defining IT scope, workflow, and processes
- Experience implementing CIS Benchmarks (AWS, Linux, Windows, MacOS)
- Experience assessing the business risk associated with IT systems
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to tactfully communicate and achieve results across team boundaries
- An enthusiasm for driving continuous improvements through leadership, collaboration, and initiative
- Must be familiar with technology to assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop a schedule to ensure meeting deadlines or projects
- Must be responsible for establishing and monitoring all project schedules, alerting Senior staff when problems arise, and making sure schedules are followed
