We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Officer to be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.  Accounts Payable Officer is essential for ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, maintaining strong vendor relationships, optimizing cash flow, supporting financial reporting and audits, and driving operational efficiency and cost control within the organization. Their role is integral to the overall financial management and success of the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
2. Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
3. Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
4. Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
5. Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
6. Generate reports detailing accounts payables status
7. Understand expense accounts and cost centers
8. Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.)
9. Various administrative tasks, including mailings, typing correspondence, report preparation, scanning, etc.

Record to Report (RTR) officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and reporting of the organisation. Their responsibilities typically encompass a range of tasks covering all Carousell Entities.

You will:

• Support the RTR team in doing the monthly activities including but no limited to accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and lease accounting for all the Carousell entities.

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions specifically during finance month-end closing and related to RTR activities

• Prepare monthly account schedules and reconciliations

• Communicate financial information and updates to finance controllers across Company entities

• Address inquiries and provide clarification on financial matters related to RTR activities

Client Success Officer must have excellent communication, social, administrative, record-keeping and computing skills to handle tasks efficiently. Responsible for knowing how various tools and systems works, training clients, checking that data/statistics are accurate. Must have good interpersonal skills to deal with customers and collaborate with other departments in the company, such as marketing, product, moderation, etc. They require excellent customer service skills to enable them to deal politely and effectively to give accurate instructions and/or in case customers’ inquiries or complaints arise.

• Onboard new clients to apps and tools included to the services availed
• Help process value added services for clients
• Review and verify statistics from apps and tools
• Observe product utilization and give intel of the clients behavior to sales managers
• May provide administrative assistance to leads and management team members as required
• Report unusual activity to supervisors
