About The Role:

We are looking for an IT Assistant Manager to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines. You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs. The successful candidate will have improved skills, proven professional experience, and a detailed knowledge of the industry’s best practice processes.
 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
• Take responsibility for projects and operational solutions within the larger business initiative
• Manage Help Desk tickets, distribute ticket load evenly daily to the team, planning and prioritizing systematically to minimize backlog and ensure operational efficiency.
• Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
• Track and maintain hardware and software inventory. 
• Management of IT staff including IT staff training, IT staff load prioritization, IT staff load distribution, coaching, counseling, disciplining, recruiting and selecting.
• Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions
• Ensure technology components work together seamlessly to meet business needs, using their full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitor solutions
• Analyze processes, technologies, and vendors continually to find areas for improvement
• Prepare cost benefit analyses when upgrades are necessary, and monitor vendors to ensure that they’re offering the best possible service and value for business needs
• Train employees to use software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed
• Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery and backup procedures and information security and control structures
• Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables.
• Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent knowledge, migration, implementation & troubleshooting of SaaS (i.e. Jira Help Desk System, Google Workspace),  Servers & Systems (i.e. Active directory, Email Servers, SMTP Servers, DNS, Domain Registrar, DHCP), Virtualization, Cloud (i.e. GCP), Data Center, Office Builds, Operating Systems (i.e. macOS, Windows), End-user-devices, Mobile Devices.
• Basic troubleshooting, administration & design of Trend Micro / Fortigate Firewall, Cisco / Aruba / Ruckus Wireless devices, Cisco / HP switches & VLans.
• Familiar with Physical Security (i.e. Face Recognition Access Controller or Biometric Door Access, CCTV cams & NVR) and Endpoint Security (i.e. EDR, Anti-virus).
• Proven knowledge of AV/VC (Audio Video/Video Conferencing) technologies (i.e. Chromebox, Nearity, Anker, Jabra, Display TVs, Projector, Projector Screens, Digital Signage) and meeting room, town hall event setups.
• Good working knowledge of project management, P.O.C., project trackers, project timelines and resource allocation.
• Wide networking & contacts to be able to find and maintain good working relationships with IT vendors.
• Proven soft skills ability to lead people, discuss and collaborate with other leaders, speak and train employees.
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages or programming languages or RPA (i.e. automation of CorpIT tasks)   

Our Business Strategy &  Operations team works on a set of business activities, processes and tools that help Carousell’s sales organisation run effectively, efficiently and helps them to execute on overall business strategies and objectives.

We are looking to hire a Business Operations Business Partner to support our Verticals Business Leadership & Sales organisation. 

This role will report to the Business Strategy & Operations Senior Manager:

You will:

• Act as a key business partner to the Carousell Media Group for Business Operations related activities and analyses.

• Support business needs around reporting, contracting, invoicing, analysis, working with Sales, Category Heads, Regional finance and other business operations team members 

• Maintenance of customer/partner master data, including account attributes, legal agreements and CRM account hierarchy data for the relevant business team(s)

• Manage systems interfaces related to sales reporting, commissions, data processing, customer master data and territory management for the relevant business team(s)

• Provide training on sales support systems, tools and processes to all sales users.

• Participate in strategy discussions and help gather organisational information for the preparation of new process & tool implementations.

• Alignment of processes in the within the Carousell Media Group

This position will play a key role in supporting the media sales team to ensure they are successfully utilizing Google Ads Manager (GAM) and The Tradedesk(TTD) to run Direct campaigns and achieve their business objectives.

This is a full-time role in the Philippines (remote).
 

Responsibilities:

• Be the subject matter expert for all campaigns run in Google Ads Manager and The Tradedesk DSP.

• Execute and guide campaigns through their entire lifecycle - from pre-sell queries, to set up, to implementation, to optimization, post-campaign performance report and billing. 

• Analyze campaign data & optimize towards maximum performance and ROI for the client

• Provide clear and concise insights and analysis of campaign data across the various digital channels (Display, Carousell Shopping Ads and Connect)

• Extract and deliver insightful findings for further optimization, client-facing reports and presentations

• Maintain open and proactive communication with internal and external teams

• Guide and educate the team/stakeholders on how to effectively use the platform

• Work on other ad hoc tasks as required by the company.
