Responsibilities
- Mainly in charge of general and subsidiary ledger accounts.
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Maintains accounting controls by ensuring policies are observed.
- Guides accounting associates by coordinating activities and answering questions.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Secures financial information by completing database backups.
- Support monthly and annual close process.
- Perform account analysis to make sure that entries and balances are correct.
- Reconcile accounts with the general ledger to ensure that all transactions are reported in accordance with accounting standards and government regulations.
- Graduate of BS in Accountancy
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- High integrity and professionalism
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures
- Understanding of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) & BIR regulations applicable to tax filings/ payments (CWT, final tax, VAT, DST, FBT)
- Experience with accounting software - QuickBooks Enterprise
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with excel functions, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to details
