Responsibilities

Role Overview

The Application Support Analyst role is responsible for second level support and maintenance of managed Datacom client applications through its lifecycle. This role includes day-to-day incident and problem management across multiple clients in the Application Management team. The Application Support Analyst will communicate with the client, and the internal Application management teams within the specified timeframe that meets specifications and/or SLA’s. This role ensures all work aligns to Datacom's standards and guidelines.

• Knowledge of AMQ, MuleSoft, integration, queues and troubleshooting therein.

• Excellent deductive reasoning and formulation of analysis to support third party teams and be the facilitator and owner of problems.
• Work with 3rd parties and other teams to assist in patching, upgrading and mitigating security risks.
• SQL knowledge and working with SQL Server and Oracle RDBMS.  Write scripts to amend data and transactions.

Skills

About the Role

The Senior Solution Architect is primarily responsible for the Designs for the future and road mapping for Datacom Cloud with a relentless focus on continuous improvement of cloud operations and associated delivery leveraging agile methodologies. You will bring experience in high-volume ticket management using ITSM tools focusing on adherence to documented procedures and achievement of SLAs. Experience with Software Asset Management technologies from Flexera Software, Snow Software, Service Now, or similar will be highly valued.

You will have knowledge of key Software Asset Management concepts and processes, plus an awareness of software license metrics, as you will be undertaking a range of exciting activities relating to software license management, software request management, license reclamation, software contract management, and renewal management.

You will be responsible for delivering the key aspects of SAM service for Datacom.

What You’ll Do

In this role you will work collaboratively with The ITAM team, the Internal Group Technology and our client- The users of Datacom. Essentially, the Software Asset Management Analyst will:

• Management of the Software Request resolver group in the ITSM technology.
• Maintain the Software Asset Register, and all supporting Proof of Entitlement and Contract evidence, in collaboration with the Software Asset Manager, the customer, application owners, procurement/finance, and contract stakeholders.
• Allocate licences to users and devices in the SAM technology resulting from approved Software Requests.
• Apply the software License Reclamation Policy to software inventory.
• Support technical teams to install software through the supply of media and keys.
• Respond to, or escalate, licensing queries from stakeholders.
• Maintain the Software Renewal calendar.
• Deliver, or support the delivery of, Effective License Position and Software Utilisation reports in accordance with the documented reporting schedule.
• Identify and report compliance issues and risks.
• Supply license entitlement and software inventory data to support operations activities.
• Deliver all agreed scheduled reports to other ITSM and ITAM stakeholders.

Purpose

The Developer role is responsible for the core coded business logic for the developed application or platform.

A developer should be intimately familiar with the languages and design patterns used in the application and strive to deliver code that is well structured and maintainable.

5+ years’ experience working on IT projects across multiple phases of the SDLC.

Full stack web development experience.

You will be confident in developing and mentoring in C#.

At least 3 years development experience in .Net.

Experience with web front-end technologies including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, React, or ASP .Net Razor.

Knowledge of software configuration management using tools such as Git.
