Reporting to the Head of Communications and Public Affairs, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing foodpanda’s public policy strategy and programmes to optimize the business and operating environment. Working collaboratively with various business functions in foodpanda, the successful candidate will be a key contributor in maintaining the company’s good reputation and standing among the communities in which we operate.

• Develop foodpanda’s internal public policy strategy and programmes on topics relating to the tech and food delivery sector, including but not limited to employment, gig work, sustainability, competition, as well as consumer & data protection
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement foodpanda’s policy stance and programmes
• Build foodpanda’s stakeholder network within the public sector, academia, professional associations, NGOs, and more, both at the central and local levels (travel to provinces, regional company offices, and other key locations are required)
• Communicate and advocate for foodpanda’s policy positions by (a) drafting position papers on proposed legislation, (b) responding to concerns from government stakeholders, (c) developing policy communications materials in consultation with key internal stakeholders such as PR/communications, legal and operations; and (d) where needed, represent foodpanda at government meetings/Congressional hearings
• Contribute to foodpanda’s efforts in uplifting riders, vendors, and our communities through relevant initiatives
• Identify and pursue partnerships with government agencies, key opinion leaders, or credible organizations to build thought leadership
• Drive the implementation of these initiatives and programmes, and track and review the effectiveness of the same

We are looking for an Account Executive for Lipa, Batangas to join our growing business!

Responsibilities:

• Manage and enhance the work relationship with the 20-30 partner restaurant chains through regular, personal contact with the restaurant manager.
• Renegotiate the contracts conditions such as commission rate or minimum basket size with restaurant manager on a regular basis
• Convince restaurant manager to implement the backlink on their website and/or a splash page to convert online traffic into additional orders.
• Design and improve the aftersales process by streamlining the operations and the CRM system.
• Find and convince the best partner restaurants to join the corporate menu booklet and monitor the order evolution as well as customer experience after integration.
• Negotiate exclusive deals with the best partner restaurants in order to increase the orders and at the same time safeguarding the relationship quality to the partner restaurant.
• Ensure that all partner restaurants maintain a high customer experience and brief them on how to even improve it.

Requirements:

• Preferably 1-3 years lead or account management experience preferable in the food and beverages industry
• Open for Fresh graduates too

We are looking for a highly driven and motivated Manager, External Reporting & Controlling (APAC) to join our fast-growing team here in APAC. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for review of monthly actual financial results, including but not limited to balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement in accordance with IFRS and Group Reporting policies. 
• Work closely with the country finance teams, provide in-depth analysis of monthly financial results against budget and forecast, and meaningful insights to the senior management team at the regional headquarters.
• Collaborate with Regional Accounting, Controlling and Central teams to align on accounting, cost and revenue treatments to ensure compliance with IFRS reporting and Group Financial Reporting Policies. 
• Work closely with local finance teams and provide additional support to ensure that month-end closing tasks are completed in a timely manner and Group submission timelines are met consistently. 
• Provide guidance to local finance teams to ensure that all reconciliation items are investigated and cleared up promptly. 
• Lead the periodic regional review of compliance with Group Reporting Policies and Controlling Guidelines, identify areas of non-compliance and provide recommendations. 
• Support the implementation of updates to Group Reporting Guidelines.
• Drive ad-hoc projects that have the potential to enhance the financial reporting accuracy, efficiency and operational processes.

• Provide guidance to the country Finance teams in the APAC region on accounting matters, as necessary, and resolve any accounting and reporting issues that may arise.
• Serve as the subject matter expert pertaining to IFRS and Group Reporting Policy and keep up-to-date with any amendments or updates to the Standards.
• Lead the periodic regional review of compliance with Group Reporting Policies and Controlling Guidelines, identify areas of non-compliance and provide recommendations.
• As a subject matter expert in accounting, to partner with cross-functional teams in the region for any projects, initiatives or resolve any issues or business case.
• Collaborate / align with controlling, FP&A and Group teams on accounting, cost and revenue treatments to ensure compliance with IFRS reporting and Group Financial Reporting Policies.
