As the Payment Operations Analyst is a customer-facing role, you will be responsible for managing the entire payment processing workflow, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance throughout. You will also play a key role in optimizing payment systems and delivering exceptional client support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire payment processing cycle, ensuring all transactions are executed accurately and on time.
- Identify, monitor, and resolve discrepancies or issues related to payment transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance payment systems, workflows, and practices.
- Maintain detailed documentation of payment processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Provide exceptional client support, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth payment resolutions.
- Support the implementation of new payment methods and technological solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Assist the Payment Operations Lead in preparing monthly reports and driving process improvements.
- Handle second-level verification for cheque verification and loan disbursement processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field with 1-2 years of experience in payment operations or financial services. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and derive insights from data.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other analytical tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate across teams.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive problem solver with a strong sense of initiative.
- Hybrid work set-up: 1-2 days per week in our BGC office; remote the rest of the time.
