As a Senior Salesforce B2B Backend Developer, you will translate client requirements into technical development, design schemas and integrate with content management solutions and search engines, unlocking the business value of new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work on a complex Salesforce B2B Commerce project for our large international clients.
• Develop Digital Business experiences based on a foundation of Salesforce B2B Commerce 
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on all website preparation and all site updates
• Assist with requirements definition, specifications, vendor selections, design, development, and timelines for key initiatives
• Assist with solution design based on product requirements
• Assist with code reviews and pull requests
• Diagnose and solve technical problems related to commerce implementation
• Define best practices to implement non-functional requirements like performance and scalability of the commerce solution.
• As Senior Developer, mentor and train junior development resources

The main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Write standards-compliant code including testing/debugging in both IOS and Android
• Works with Visual and UX Designers to translate visual concepts into functional native application experiences
• Ability to take graphic files and translate them into a functional experience on mobile platforms
• Participate in the functional requirements definitions for new or modified applications
• Work closely with internal development and design teams to ensure flawless integration with back-end technology and a great user experience
• Maintain continuous contact with all internal and external stakeholders through the project and after completion making sure features are delivered with high quality and on time
• May provide assistance, identification and technical analysis for incident troubleshooting
• Promote good coding practices within their team

The primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Work with internal teams and external vendors to gather requirements, prototyping, architecting and implementing/updating solutions
• Provide Sitecore guidance into the selection, scope, design, development, delivery and continual service improvement of technology solutions.
• Nurture/enforce and monitor product technical excellence and high quality
• Ensure all technical documentation is complete, accurate, and current for new or modified modules/applications according to defined guidelines and standards
• Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, enhance and document components develop by self and others as per the requirements and detailed design
• Conduct testing and code review, deployment in a continuous integration environment (CI)
• Champion continuous improvement in the Sitecore platform team and the wider engineering teams.
• Assist with support analysis and troubleshooting on primarily Sitecore platforms and, where possible other internal systems

• Engage actively in technical design and solution architecture discussions, contributing insights for backend web applications and web APIs that underpin the digital/ecommerce platform and seamlessly integrate enterprise services across all business domains.
• Craft reusable code and libraries, demonstrating a forward-thinking approach that enhances efficiency for future development endeavors.
• Drive optimization initiatives for existing applications, focusing on enhancing performance and scalability to meet evolving business needs.
• Conduct rigorous testing and code reviews, ensuring code quality and deployment efficiency within a continuous integration environment (CI).
• Provide essential support in technical analysis for escalated incidents, leveraging your expertise to swiftly address and resolve challenges in the development lifecycle.
