• Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and commercial team to understand business requirements and effectively translate them into technical requirements for the development team
• Planning and documenting comprehensive technical specifications for features or system design, ensuring a clear roadmap for development and implementation
• Supporting, guiding and directing the development team in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including design, development, coding, testing and debugging to deliver high quality solutions
• Writing testable, scalable and efficient code, leading by example and setting coding standards for the team
• Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to the team to ensure code quality
• Work hand in hand with the team to create and deploy web-based applications for our enterprise clients

Opportunity

We’re looking for a Front-End Web Developer to design and translate UI/UX design wireframes to code that will produce visual elements in our application. You must be able to front-end develop your prototype into functional web/mobile experiences. This is an opportunity to use your design thinking skills to create elegant, intuitive user-first experiences that meet the evolving needs of our customers across multiple platforms. You will need to understand and recognise the importance of how data and analytics can inform design solutions.

Who should apply 
 

• An individual with a keen eye for user-centered design, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive interfaces.
• 3+ years of work experience as a UX Designer/Developer is required; front-end development experience is a plus
• Hands on experience with markup languages
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS and React is required
• Experience in Figma or Adobe XD is highly desirable
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Understanding of layout aesthetics

Responsibilities

• Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs
• Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
• Work hand in hand with the team to create web-related and mobile-related features for our website and app. Identify opportunities to create business value and improve the user experience, based on user research
• Understand target users deeply: develop or work from user profiles and conduct task analysis, create user scenarios or use stories
• Define UX requirements, create wireframes and prototypes of system functionality and workflows / create UI designs for web & mobile - functionality and aesthetics
• End to end project management and managing multiple, complex projects in parallel
• Conduct usability testing and execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Identification and troubleshooting of bugs that are found on the website/mobile app
• Experience and knowledge of best practices for rapid prototyping
• Contribute to and help create design guidelines, best practices and standards
