MySigrid is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Remote Full-time Chief of Staff. The ideal candidate will serve as the trusted right-hand person to the executive, managing day-to-day operations and supporting strategic initiatives in the venture capital firm. Your responsibilities will include prioritizing tasks, managing communications, overseeing deal flow, and ensuring seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn every aspect of venture capital: Shadow the executive to gain comprehensive knowledge of venture capital operations and processes.
• Email Management: Prioritize and respond to all emails promptly, ensuring efficient communication flow.
• Meeting Support: Attend meetings, capture action items, and follow up on tasks as necessary.
• Task Prioritization: Assist in creating and managing the executive's to-do list, prioritizing tasks based on importance and urgency.
• Calendar Management: Utilize scheduling software to manage the executive's calendar, ensuring efficient use of time.
• Daily Planning: Prepare daily bullet plans outlining critical tasks for the day, keeping the executive focused and organized.
• Deal Flow Management: Manage and prioritize deal flow, supporting the deal process from inception to completion.
• Meeting Preparation: Ensure the executive is fully prepared with background information and context before meetings and follow up on action items afterward.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with portfolio CEOs to gather metrics and monitor the performance of portfolio companies.
• Project Management: Manage partner projects, brand/marketing initiatives, and events, ensuring successful execution and delivery.

Requirements

As a minimum, we expect candidates to meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or related industry.
• Proven track record of successfully supporting C-suite executives or senior leadership.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate data and contribute to strategic decision-making.
• Amenable to US Night Shift (Pacific Time) work schedule

MySigrid has co-working offices in BGC, Ortigas, and Makati where the whole team meets twice a month at a minimum.

You will be working together with a cross-functional team that’s responsible for full software development, from conception to deployment.

YOUR ROLE AS AN IT SUPPORT STAFF

As an IT Support Staff at MySigrid, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our IT systems and software applications. Your expertise will be critical in maintaining the high standards of quality we strive for. You will work collaboratively with our IT support and development teams, actively contributing to the identification, reporting, and resolution of issues, as well as conducting thorough testing to enhance our technology infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate closely with the IT support team to provide technical assistance and expedite issue resolution.
• Receive, meticulously document, and track reported bugs and issues, ensuring their prompt and effective resolution.
• Conduct comprehensive testing and diagnostics to identify system-related failures and prepare detailed resolution reports.
• Proactively identify and implement maintenance techniques to minimize downtime and enhance system efficiency.
• Assist in optimizing software and systems for superior performance, working alongside the development team.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize lookup processes within our IT systems.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in quality assurance and IT analysis.
• Proficiency in programming languages and scripting (e.g., Javascript, SQL).
• Proven experience in programming.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools.
• Familiarity with lookup tables, indexing, and database optimization.
• Proven experience in resolving errors related to office applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
