Our behavioral researchers in NIQ’s Consumer Insights team tackle our clients’ issues by unlocking the why and the how, while our data researchers identify key clients' priorities quantitatively by applying data science techniques to the survey and other big data sources.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and building an accurate, complete, up-to-date understanding of the market with insightful data and intelligence
• Accountable for analyses, charting, and performing quality checks for analytic reports
• Assisting in developing analytical solutions, consumer insight recommendations, and developing questionnaires aligned with client goals and needs
• Assisting in preparation of proposals and credential presentations
• Ensuring timely and quality deliverables and services to clients
• Providing administrative and operational support in research projects
• Collaborating with the various internal teams for research projects

A Little Bit About You

You will play an essential role in managing research projects from start to finish, supporting the Manager on research design, analysis, reporting through to presenting findings to clients. We will arm you with the best in market research skills and capabilities, through on the job coaching and structured training. You will also be given access to our full range of data and analytics solutions. Whilst we love surveys, we also have plenty of other data to quench your curiosity and wow your clients.

In this role, you will be the single point of contact for the Commercial and Finance teams, to liaise on Finance/Revenue related requests. You will be the go-to person from the Commercial side on all Finance related processes, platforms and documents who can advise on actions accordingly. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all key cut-off dates based on the Monthly Closing Calendar are strictly adhered to

• Update opportunities for Commercial teams and advise on opportunity set-up in Salesforce. 
• Commission opportunity in Salesforce to get the job number (i.e. include billing instructions, final contract details, evidence of agreement (EOA) and/or PO). Raise job number request for exception cases, if needed.
• Raise request and coordinate new SAP account creation and credit checks.
• Review and approve proforma invoices .
• Follow up with the Billing team on sending invoices to clients.
• Raise credit memo request for invoice revisions/ cancellations.
• Attend the local Billing and Cash Collection calls and coordinate action items with the Commercial team.
• Ensure project dates in SAP are updated. Raise SAP change requests as needed.
• Follow up with the Operations team on pending fieldwork start date confirmation.
• Follow up with the Commercial team on pending evidence of delivery (EOD).
• Other Finance/Revenue-related duties, as assigned

• Act as one of the focal members of the Consumer Intelligence and Consulting Group – primarily Research Operations
• Provide support and assistance with the management of research projects across industries
• Serve as the quality checking (QC) champion to ensure adherence with GfK and global research standards

Key responsibilities
