This role is accountable for activities related to Quality checks (Acid tests, Primary testing of data, Retailer Accreditation) from receipt of the data to data loading into the system for  data sources that Nielseniq receives. Data Analysts will be responsible for onboarding \ setting up, upload and monitoring data (all Data types ) into the ingestion platform \ other input platforms. This role is also responsible for monitoring, cleansing, classification & verification of received data, managing metadata, Troubleshooting, and handling Client queries. 

Quality Testing: 

• Support all sourcing Teams, operations and Product Leadership with any requests around data quality testing for new / prospective Suppliers
• Run Quality checks and provide feedback (Such as Acid test, Retailer Accreditation / other defined quality protocols) on sample data as requested. 

Data Onboarding: 

• Understand the data format agreed with the Supplier as per the contract and complete set up on Ingestion/ any other Input platform
• Data cleaning, verification and classification as needed
• Upload of received files to platform as needed
• Troubleshooting with the Supplier in case data is not in agreed format or any other issues with data upload such as file issues ( type/ location/ special characters etc.) 

BAU Operations: 

• Create procedures to support ongoing BAU Ops
• Ensuring data receipt as per schedule, following escalation process if the data not received on the agreed date in the desired format

• Responsible for sending and contacting retailers to verify data queries or store queries (e.g missing addresses etc)

The Retailer Interaction Specialist (RIS) retain and grow relationship with retailers to improve RAP, RPS and elimination of Quality Scape within assigned region.  The RIS will maximize retailer Interaction in order to maintain communications with retailers, develops strong relationships and creates strategic short and long term plans to improve the quality of the data, on-time delivery and data input.

The Retailer Interaction Specialist responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Drive Retailer Quality KPIs (RAP, RPS and Q.E. Reduction) and build supplier (retailer) improvement processes and technology solutions that can be leveraged globally. 
• Must be a team player working closely with IV Enablement and Execution teams, Retail Service, Reference Data, Data Acquisition, Measurement Science, Production Manager and Product Leadership and other GBS functions (where applicable) to establish an interaction process with retailers.  
• Responsible for retention and penetration activities of existing retailers and improvement of the quality of the data receiving from the retailer, including: 
• Monitor Dashboard 
• Contact Retailers 
• Provide Training 
• Maintain plans with strategy for each retailer 
• New Retailer On-Boarding 
• Retailer Interaction Monthly Report
• Identify best practices in “Green” Retailers and drive leverage of these to improve the “Red/Amber” Retailers. Also suggest Best Practices to regional and/or global leader for further cross-regional leverage. When appropriate, make recommendations for enhancements to internal Nielsen Operations processes.  
• Complete special projects assigned to the region in regards to retailer interaction, as well as reporting the results across the region and being accountable for the results and meeting the targets on RI 
• Communicate with retailer IT departments (at all levels) on an ongoing basis regarding input-data quality and future retailer input-data changes. Conduct all data investigations where the issue is traced back to retailer input and work with retailer and Nielsen Operations to correct input errors. 
• Leverage Retail Service relationships with retailers to utilize their expertise and retailer contacts. View retailer as a client AND supplier.

• Support the on boarding and deployment to retailers. The R.I.S. is required to liaise with the retailer and the IV teams to get to a clean set of data which is suitable and compatible for Nielsen.
