• Prepare and file related tax returns (e.g., VAT, income tax, withholding tax) accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with BIR and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain organized tax records and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Reconcile tax-related accounts to ensure accurate reporting.
• Assist on tax refund filing.
• Assist in researching and interpreting tax laws, advising on implications for business operations.
• Support the development of tax strategies and provide guidance to departments on tax-related issues.
• Serve as the primary contact for BIR and other government audits related to tax matters.
• Provide documentation and support to auditors, ensuring timely response to requests. Internal Revenue (BIR), BOI, 
• Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
• Monitor and ensure compliance with new tax regulations and advise management on potential impacts.
• Assist in monitoring and processing of related compliances and filings

• Support the AP SG Team by scanning and forwarding the newly received invoice for payment. 
• Attend to supplier’s concern and query. 
• Managing Inventory of incoming and processed documents 
• Assist on Government audit (i.e. BIR) by supplying documents required.  
• Transmit payment over the counter and deposit the check payment. 
• Preparation of document for transmittal. 
• Filing of other documents to Government Agencies (e.g. BIR, BOI, SEC and City Hall).
• Assist in filing of Books for all OceanaGold entities.
• Ensure received invoices’ compliance to BIR regulation. 
• Assist in preparation and printing of BIR forms 
• Maintaining accounting records by ensuring documents are scanned and labelled aptly. 
• Collate or scan the documents for the processed payment and save to the Finance Library Folder
• Assist external/ internal auditor by supplying documents requested for audit. 

Provide expert support and improvements for our primary ERP system, PRONTO, focusing on various modules, including Finance, Project, Supply Chain, and Maintenance Management. Support Philippines / Singapore OceanaGold business units and ensure compliance with policies and standards.

Some key accountabilities include:

• Deliver Level 2 support for PRONTO and its integrations across various functional areas.
• Support various IT Audit processes and lead audit remediation activities as needed.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure quality and usability.
• Adhere to established Change Management processes, including working within a 3 Tier environment and utilising ServiceNow.
• Educate and support key users through training sessions and the provision of appropriate documentation.
• Collaborate with IT teams, including Applications, Engineering, Help Desk, and Corporate, to align on project goals and support needs.
