Job Description:

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our production systems. You will collaborate closely with software engineering and operations teams to build and maintain tools for automation, monitoring, and operations. Your expertise will be crucial in designing resilient and scalable architectures, optimizing application performance, and resolving complex technical issues to deliver a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain tools and frameworks for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
• Implement best practices in infrastructure security, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs).
• Perform system and application troubleshooting to resolve issues and ensure optimal performance.
• Design and implement automation strategies to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents to minimize downtime and impact on users.
• Conduct post-mortem analyses of incidents and implement measures to prevent recurrence.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role, with a focus on designing and implementing scalable systems.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages, scripting and automation (Java, ReactJS, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of networking, system administration, Windows, and Linux/Unix-based environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and to stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Certification in cloud platforms or DevOps methodologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc. 5. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices.

• Assist and contribute in determining the IT business needs of the organization; create business scenarios, system flowchart, & acceptance criteria
• Prepare all test scenarios given by the process owners and system users.
• Formulate a test plan to include a test schedule, system/module to be tested, the databases/tables/data to be tested, test scenarios and the expected results.
• Conduct all system/software testing
• Based on the analysis and together with the application developers propose solution/s to address the bugs and errors found during the test phase.
• Continuously assess and benchmark existing systems for inefficiencies; resources used, user experience, competitor’s alternative solution
• Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements
• Recommend improvements in the software to enhance user experience

• Bachelor’s degree in any course related to Information Technology
• At least 2-3 years of work experience related and focused on Software Quality Assurance, Software User Acceptance, Testing, System Documentation
• Working knowledge about any programming language, database, & server application solutions.
• Working knowledge of basic IT support services such as: Software and Applications trouble shooting and use of commonly used software products (e.g., MS Office, MS Windows and Internet tools).
• Basic Networking Skills.
• Working knowledge on basic programming and internet tools (e.g. Web Browsing, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS)
• Sound Documentation and Communication Skills.

• Proven experience as an Azure Architect or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Virtual Machines, Azure
SQL Database, Azure Active Directory, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in an Azure environment.
• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Minimum (5) years work experience in the following:
- Leading Migration from on prem to Azure any other Cloud Platform (AWS, Google), experience with multi-tenant is a plus.
- Design a solution based on Azure / any other cloud platform.
- Solution Architect for enterprise customer (more than 500 users).
• Minimum (3) years’ experience for Terraform.
• Minimum (8) years’ experience with Windows Server Architecture and Domain Controller
