We are looking for a Data Analyst to assist our Data Team in maintaining our infrastructure. You will need a keen eye for detail and a bloodhound’s ability to follow a trail through multiple system layers when debugging a gnarly issue.
You must be confident in working with big data, understanding relational and document databases, how data integrity and quality are monitored and maintained.
In time, and with additional training and support, you will troubleshooting a whole ecosystem of (Azure) microservices reading and writing our databases, and working with event and clickstream data in an external Customer Data Platform.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Work with transactional datasets
- Raising, prioritizing and potentially resolving data management bugs
- Maintenance of BI reports and dashboards
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data on an ongoing basis including data warehousing
Grow into:
- Maintaining key data management microservices (python) as part of the company's application
- Managing the ongoing development of data/telemetry collection initiatives
- Performance monitoring of microservices and databases
- Troubleshooting & root cause analysis of identified data integrity issues and microservice errors
- Experienced at using SQL to manipulate data, and interrogate/manipulate large data sets
- Experienced in working with complex operational relational data systems, including data quality and data management
- Reporting and dashboarding with PowerBI or similar
Experience preferred:
- Confident working with REST APIs/ APIs
- Experienced in working with Bitbucket/GitHub/Gitlab or similar tools
- Experienced in reading log files and following a correlation Id through various systems
- Confident with cloud environment and tools such as Databricks, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps
- Experience with Python and Python Azure Function Apps
- Exposure to PowerBI reporting
