JOB SUMMARY:
The Fleet Operations Specialist is responsible to assist the operations team in monitoring the company vehicles and company equipment, and the consolidation of weekly and monthly reports and other fleet duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect all company owned vehicles to ensure their safety and reliability.
- Monitor company drivers to ensure that they comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, and government regulations.
- Monitor vehicle registrations and licenses.
- Document, process, and analyze information pertaining to vehicle performance such as fuel consumption and convert it to a detailed report.
- To monitor usage of service vehicles as detailed in the service policy.
- To record and forward to the Management and Insurance all incidents involving damage to service vehicles (incident report, police report etc.)
- Ensure that all company owned vehicles are serviced and maintained based on the preventive maintenance schedules.
- To assist in maintaining vehicles in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety guidelines.
- Strive to exceed personal and workgroup targets specified in the Key Performance Indicators set for the department.
- Prepare the weekly and monthly reports of the company vehicles.
- Ensure the accuracy of the billings sent by service providers and insurance companies.
- Utilizing GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles.
- Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Perform other related duties as required.
