Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in cash management activities, including cash positioning, forecasting, and reporting.

• Support the preparation and analysis of cash flow reports to ensure adequate liquidity for daily operations.

• Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly treasury reports for senior management.

• Help monitor and manage banking maintenance logs.

• Aid in updating the documentation of treasury transactions, specifically intercompany loans and agreements.

• Contribute to the maintenance and updating of treasury policies and procedures.
• Support treasury projects and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness.
• Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned by the Treasury Manager.

You will be asked to do:

• Invoice Management: Assist in receiving, reviewing, and processing vendor invoices. Ensure all invoices are accurately coded, approved, and entered into the accounting system.
• Payment Processing: Support the preparation and execution of payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers. Ensure timely payments to vendors while adhering to company policies and terms.
• Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and account updates. Resolve issues efficiently and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Data Entry and Maintenance: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software. Maintain organized records of invoices and payments.
• Reconciliation: Assist with monthly reconciliations of accounts payable subledger to the general ledger. Identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Expense Reports: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and proper documentation.
• Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Provide support for special projects and initiatives within the Finance and Accounting department as needed.

You will be expected to do:

• Payment Tracking: Monitor and record incoming payments. Update accounts receivable records as payments are received.
• Customer Communication: Reach out to customers regarding open invoices, payment inquiries, or discrepancies. Provide exceptional customer service to resolve issues efficiently.
• Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and maintain organized records of transactions.
• Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations.

The internship missions

Working within the operations team of our consumer goods QC inspections business, the intern will be responsible for the continuous improvement of our processes aiming at operational excellence and offering cutting-edge solutions for better quality control in the supply chains of our clients.

• Provide technical support on the ground for the inspections: perform product inspections in the factories, train the inspectors, optimize the organization in the factories.
• Perform internal audits to ensure that the inspection SOP is well applied by the inspectors and that the client’s inspections requirements are well integrated and followed.
• Provide technical expertise to identify and evaluate process improvement opportunities: inspections physical and IT tools, AI technologies, inspection protocols, training, data management and analysis, monitoring tools…
• Partner and collaborate with the different support departments to ensure that all issues reported by the inspectors or by the clients are addressed and that effective solutions are implemented at all levels.
• Autonomously manage selected LEAN projects with high value deliverables for improvement of lead-time, quality and costs of the products inspections.

The talent recruited will report directly to the local Operations Manager.
