As a member of the Business Operations branch of Corporate IT, the IT Mobile Asset Management Associate is part of the team responsible for the lifecycle of user assets needed by our 22,000 global end users. In addition, this person is in position to execute effective and efficient procurement and asset services, ensuing values and competencies in maintaining transparency, integrity, and compliance. The Asset Management Associate derives meaningful operational metrics which align to OLA and SLAs across the function, and manages continuous improvements with regards to accurate and appropriate inventory across the enterprise.

Reporting to Visa's Director of IT Asset Management, this role’s primary focus is with inventory data maintenance.  As a business office function, this role has significant impact on the day to day success of the overall transformational journey of Corporate IT. The Asset Management Associate works with internal customers and peers to ensure data accuracy and lifecycle management of assets.  As needed, they support the delivery of financial and logistical acquisition of End User assets. She/He works with peers to derive total cost of ownership (TCO) improvements through operational efficiencies as well as vendor management activities.
Areas of experience include data analysis around asset lifecycle, inventory management and reporting, process development, optimization and global logistics and on-time delivery of services/assets.

Essential Functions

Operational

Interact with end users via telephone, e-mail, and M.S. Teams to provide procurement support.

Assisting team members as needed to ensure the entire asset service is robust and operationally efficient

Managing the upgrade eligibility for mobile assets.

Managing the refresh of assets for their assigned region

Monitor approval queue for wireless device requests.  Check for correct procurement procedure.

Ensuring timely delivery of goods, works and services using the team’s procurement procedures.

Implementing the process of procurement and asset activities, inventory control, logistics and distribution, ensuring effectively functioning processes to avoid costly delays and lost opportunities

Review inventory monthly reports from dashboard for offboarded employees, terminate service if necessary, and update record.

Reconciling inventory across a variety of systems and statuses (in stock, in use, legal review, etc.) as well as wiping/disposal activities.

Perform monthly inventory validation audits for Visa sites. This includes validation of status and the reconciliation of certificates of destruction when an asset is decommissioned.

Regularly updating status of mobile asset inventory.

Ensuring strict adherence to our process lifecycle, updating systems and documents regularly

Controls and Reporting

Guaranteed accurate inventory reporting.

Ensure audit and control regulations are met, including asset reconciliation and disposal certifications.

Ensure full compliance of procurement activities, financial rules and regulations, relevant organizational directives and administrative Instructions.

Preparing accurate ad-hoc, monthly and quarterly inventory level reports as required

Prepare monthly reports from dashboard for mobile asset reconciliation.

Ensure all activities are compliant with standard reporting requirements and audits.

Interrelationships

Ensure effective lines of communication between stakeholders, primarily those whom are within the Corp IT  department, but also between Finance, Procurement and other cost center owners

Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers and contractors to facilitate smooth flow of services

Work with wireless device vendors to track procurement requests and resolve any issues such as out of stock, delays, and cancellations.

Strategic

Maintain and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, control of workflows, continuous business processes monitoring and delivery of improvements as it pertains to inventory accuracy.

Recommend continuous improvements to team, sourcing, technicians to drive measurable improved performance

Work with local sourcing to deliver best plan, feature, and pricing for mobile service.

Participate in various Asset Management projects as needed

• Provide technical leadership to a team responsible for project implementation activities for a diverse client base, driving cross functional delivery of systems and services to customers 

• Represent assigned AP markets across the Client Delivery function Build, maintain and communicate detailed market synopsis, including but not limited to key regulatory requirements, processing nuances, key client and domestic partners, competitor landscape etc.

• Provide functional responsibility for leading an Implementations team and to increase knowledge sharing and learnings to enable consistent interaction with clients

Client Services works with issuers, acquirers, processors and merchants worldwide to develop and deliver the support model for Visa Inc. This includes day-to-day operations and product support, back-office support and customer performance reporting. Client Services includes the Rules and Compliance function, which supports the structural foundation of the Visa Payments network. 

Rules and Compliance ensures the safety, security and integrity of the payment system and supports Visa clients in the development of their electronic payments business. 

Specifically, the Rules and Compliance team establishes and enforces common interoperable rules and standards for our products and services by which clients must operate their Visa programs. 

Role:

This is an individual contributor operational role, to provide support with respect to creating and implementing compliance solutions that meet the regulatory and strategic compliance objectives of Visa. The jobholder will help coordinate important programs promoting the integrity of Visa transactions. The position will be primarily accountable for investigating Visa Rule violations in relation to Marketplace, Cross Border Acceptance, Digital Wallet, Merchant Category Code, Crypto, Merchant Data Quality, Dynamic Currency Conversion, Minimum Approval Rate, Fraud Reporting, Visa Direct and / or various other new or existing compliance programs, as well as developing detailed data analyses to support these programs. Programs managed by this role may change over time based on Visa’s Compliance needs. The role will manage internal and external relations within the context of compliance negotiations and enforcement (non-compliance assessments) and process escalation where appropriate to the Rules and Compliance senior management with the intention of ensuring minimal brand and reputational risk exposure to the Visa Inc. enterprise.

Essential Functions:

The role will ensure that clients are compliant to the rules; monitor, investigate and validate the compliance status of Clients and, where necessary, pursue corrective and negotiated action.  The primary focus is to bring Clients into compliance with proactive compliance program rules. The role is also responsible for negotiating compliance action plans with Clients, using discretion within the regulatory framework, while assessing the impact on the Visa brand, the integrity of the network, the client’s businesses and the feasibility of suggested remedial action.

The role is responsible and accountable for:
