As Accounts Receivable Analyst 1, he/she is the focal person of all rebates programs in his/her area and managing the day to day activities related to Accounts Receivables 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Focal point for global rebate programs & rebate bulletin 
• Load system data required to calculate earned credits
• Analyze distributor deductions and reconcile to pricing earned rebate credits and resolve disputes / discrepancies 
• Responsible for timely communication of credit memos and contract notices.
• Helps perform necessary activities; prepare reports and documents for monthly and quarterly close.
• Provide support and training to customers rebate submission process
• Manage files, records, transactions and other office procedures and maintain audit trail
• Ensure targets, measurements and service levels are met

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct collections per contract and invoice terms by directly interfacing with customer and managing customer payment cycle.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, issues, and disputes timely and within established policies and procedures.
• Monitor accounts receivable reports and update payment / remittance status information.
• Reconcile accounts receivable against payment and against customers’ accounts payable records.
• Review customer aging data to identify and select delinquent accounts for collection.
• Provide second tier support and research & review complex matters with customers.
• Minimize bad debt risk and maximize accounts receivable collections.
• Prepare weekly Collections Reports, track progress, and provide clarification in management reports.
• Work closely and coordinate with internal and external functional teams/ department functions such as Sales operations, AR maintenance, Legal, RMA, IT, Buyer, Client support, etc.
• Prepare and send customer statements/billings, invoices, etc.
• Provide collections input in Weekly Cash Forecast file in accordance with customer’s payment commitment or payment trend/behavior.
• Manage files, records, transactions, and other office procedures and maintain audit trail.
• Assist with key periodic (month end close, quarter close, yearend etc.) business activities.
• Interface with business partners with regards to process changes, upgrades, and enhancements
• Ensure targets, measurements and service levels are met.
• Supports Quarterly Revenue Recognition Test

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leads a diverse team processing global payments, auditing travel & expense claims, invoice processing, accurately and timely.
• Reviews and approves payment proposals and ensure compliance with accounts payable policies, audit requirements and controls.
• Reviews and approves Travel & Expense exceptions and ensure compliance with Travel & Expense policies, audit requirements and controls.
• Analyzes KPI’s and performance scorecards to improve efficiency and the level of customer service.
• Develops reports and continuous improvements that will benefit Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense.
• Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions.
• May interpret reports and records for managers/stakeholders.
• Provides problem and invoice resolution assistance to vendors and internal company personnel with tact and diplomacy; act as a liaison between departments and vendors
• Be proactive and identify areas in need of improvement and take action to implement process improvements when appropriate to increase overall department capacity
• Provides effective and timely follow through with internal and external inquiries, issues and concerns
• Reviews workload and adjusts resources to provide accurate and timely processing consistent with policy and controls
