The role will handle various fixed assets projects including, but not limited to, the following:

• For WD US Entities:

1. Preparation of periodic data packages requested by the US tax team
2. Preparation and analysis of US fixed asset reports
3. Preparation and analysis of US Property tax reports Analysis of intercompany fixed asset transfer
4. Manage the cloud implementation of fixed asset’s global tax books

• For WD Global Entities:

1. Review and analysis of global tax fixed asset reports

As an AP Accountant 1, you will support the US entity in providing invoice processing services, account review reconciliation, verifying and invoice posting. The Fixed Assets Analyst 3 is responsible for the overall fixed asset accounting and reporting of Western Digital’s (WD) APAC region.   She should ensure that a robust accounting controls, accounting quality and compliance are in-placed.  The position will report to the Fixed Assets Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In charge of the Fixed Asset (FA) operations including CIP monitoring, FA capitalization, Retirements, Transfers & lead month-end closing activities for APAC
• Post FA accruals and perform Monthly Subledger Close
• Prepares Roll forward reports and Accounts Reconciliation monthly and quarterly
• FA in charge for SOX and KPMG Audit requirements.
