• Screen new site locations for solar power projects in partnership with project development managers. 
• Represent the company to landowners, presenting project opportunities and establishing new relationships. 
• Negotiate and execute land lease and purchase agreements, securing right of way for transmission lines and substations. 
• Work closely with transmission line route assessment, land survey and other land related service providers. 
• Maintain open communication with landowners and municipalities and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. 
• Manage and maintain accurate records of signed land leases, including registration processes with the Land Survey.

This role reports directly to the Regional Grid Solutions Manager based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Grid Solutions Manager is a hybrid engineering and management role who would manage the engineering and designing organizations of the grid connections for medium to large scale solar projects and have oversight of the effective and efficient execution of grid projects by coordinating with different external stakeholders to develop the project schedules, address technical issues and designs, and to work with internal stakeholders to forecast work and develop a schedule of execution. The scope of works / duties and responsibilities for this role include the following but not limited to:

• Participate in projects from the conceptual phase until operation across the Asia Pacific region.
• Take on engineering and design of grid connections.
• Support the project development with technical expertise during the early stages of projects and new markets across the Asia Pacific region.
• Qualify and manage external engineering consultants.
• Specify and coordinate the technical aspects of tendering interconnection infrastructure projects to sub-contractors.
• Coordinate sub-contractors during design and execution of projects in cooperation with the on-site team across Asia Pacific region.
• Aggregating, managing and producing documentation and information for management, clients, lenders and advisers.
• Meet with utilities and stakeholders within the Asia Pacific region for technical discussions.
•  Coordination and communication with third party technical advisors.

Summary of the Role:
As the Project Integration Manager, you will be responsible for driving commercial and financial performance across our portfolio of renewable energy projects. You will work closely with the development team to assess project feasibility, will structure deals with external stakeholders, negotiate contracts and support the project delivery team in achieving financial targets.

Responsibilities:

• Management of projects including management of internal and external stakeholders from project origination until commercial operation or sale;
• Working closely with the Development and Execution team, assess project feasibility, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies;
• Develop business case including detailed financial analysis to progress new opportunities and ensure appropriate commercial frameworks are in place;
• Manage key transactions for multiple projects such as project sale or strategic partnerships with local companies;
• Manage contract negotiation and execution across multiple projects;
• Analyse market trends and identify opportunities for growth;
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, customers, and government agencies.
