The finance analyst is responsible for collection, organization, interpretation, analysis, recording, documentation, and dissemination of complex data sets. The candidate will process and reconcile  accounts and general ledger related transactions with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, customer service and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The candidate will provide support and be part of the US Finance team.

• Support the Finance and Accounting related activities and operational matters with financial impacts, including periodic reporting, cash funding, business updates, invoice processing, ad hoc reporting, cash management, etc.
• Work collaboratively and develop strong relationships within the Business Unit, with operational executives, and with managers.
• Research and resolve premium, claims, and cash discrepancies between Program Administrators and/or Arch policy issuance systems and Arch Accounting System
• Reconcile financial results on a periodic basis (monthly and quarterly) for both P&L and Balance Sheet in order to validate the accuracy of financially reported results.
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure all transactions have been properly recorded.
• Perform financial analysis, general ledger account reconciliations, and generate key reports.
• Utilize information from third parties and Business Units to report financial results and create and record technical journal entries needed to support the accounting for the business units.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual Statutory reports.

Assignment: Night Shift

The Sr. Accountant will prepare workpapers, journal entries, and reconciliations for selected programs. The senior accountant will have ownership over the economics for their select programs ensuring accuracy.

• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Prepare and monitor program economics for select programs including monthly program entries, reconciliations, and cash application.
• Provide technical support to the Finance Teams (AP, AR, Bank Reconciliation, Claims Payable, Reporting).
• Support quarter-end and year-end close processes, expense allocation process and any internal reporting for the Group.
• Provide leadership and drive for quality and accuracy.

• Commercial business partnering
• Sit with Country Associate Commercial Finance Director to work out client commercial deals, strategic pitch alignments, fee proposals /commercial development.

A Change Management Analyst is responsible for review and approval of change for basic applications, services, and infrastructure. This role may assist in compilation of quantitative measurements and metrics relating to change activity. Additionally, may be involved in basic process improvement and modification.

We are looking for a professional, responsible and self-reliant individual to help our Global IT Service Desk team in Avaloq which requires close collaboration with all IT team members and users worldwide.

Your key tasks 

• Serve as the first point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance over the phone, email, and tickets
• Fixing the problems identified by users
• Capture and conduct progressive incident analysis and remediation of incidents
• Support end users via tickets, phone, email, and remote access
• Prioritizing and resolving IT concerns and escalating serious issues to relevant stakeholders
• Documentation of systems, procedures and processes
• Processing IT service requests and managing the request fulfillment process 
• Provide accurate information on IT products or services

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Bank Administration

• Opening/closing of accounts
• Maintain banking relationships
• KYC Updates
• User Maintenance
• Auto-debit authorization
• Banking integration and systems maintenance
• Coordinates with bank personnel for other bank services to be availed and other banking concerns

Treasury Support

• Transfer Pricing review
• Intercompany agreements and transactions
• Cash management and forecasting

Cash Transactions and Bookkeeping Support

• Worldwide payment release role
• Intercompany wire transfers
• Statutory payments
• Prepares and documents all cash transactions
• Prepares daily cash position report
• Prepares journal entries related to cash
• Ensure sufficient funds to meet ongoing operational and capital spending needs
• Assist in cash reconciliations

Insurance

• Support worldwide policies as needed such as car/shipment values, property values
• Manage local policies (European CGLS, Local Property/GL, AMPI Cargo)
• Claim support

SOX Controls

• Implements and executes both key and non-key treasury controls
• Collects and provides evidence of controls for audit purposes
• Assist with debt compliance covenants as needed

Process Improvement Initiatives

• Eliminate manual wires and paper checks
• AME bank account rationalization

Other Support Activities

• Withholding Tax support
• FX efficiency/risk management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Management Accounting/Accounting Technology
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years work experience
• Computer literate (MS Office Applications), advanced proficiency in use of computer, office software and business applications, especially Excel
• Ability to manage and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Recommends improvement on existing process/procedures
• Mastery of systems, analytical tools and data management
• Can design reports and self-service tools business managers will use
• Ability to investigate a problem and find a solution in a timely, efficient manner
• Possesses analytical thinking skills
