Reporting to the Store Accounting Manager, this ASSOCIATE role is to be part of the Finance organisation in IKEA Philippines supporting Store, and by that support the growth of IKEA businesses by ensuring accurate and timely work practices on: processing and payment of invoices from local vendors and reimbursements to co-workers

Your assignment

• Verify invoices and billings to ensure correctness and completeness of supporting documents (e.g. billing/sales invoice, receipt, purchase order) prior to payment processing
• Input invoices and assign account code and business dimension for each invoice and post into the accounting system in a timely and consistent manner
• Verify and process co-workers claims
• Prepare and ensure timely payments to local vendors
• Liaise with vendors on payment related enquires
• Check and follow up long outstanding invoices
• Reconciliation of monthly GL accounts and vendor balances
• Assist Store Accounting Manager in the preparation of monthly reports and audit schedules
• Archiving of Accounting documents
• Other ad hoc tasks related to accounting and finance

Your assignment

• You will be reporting to the Payroll & HR Admin Manager, Philippines

• You are responsible for the centralised payroll and salary administration of co-workers; manage the year-end income tax activity and 13th month reporting with DOLE.

• You ensure payroll & HR practices are in compliance to the national legislation and timely submission of statutory related documents.

• You will participate on payroll audit and support the rewards team in external compensation and benefits-related surveys for market benchmarking.

• You will be involved in both HR Admin activities, from data management, recruitment, on boarding, benefits administration to off boarding and work-pass related matter which includes mobility support for our co-workers in Service Office.

• You will participate in continuous improvement projects related to payroll and HR Admin matter.

As TSA’s Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for managing the financial obligations of the company by overseeing the payment of invoices and ensuring that all financial transactions related to the company's expenses are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

What will your normal day look like? 

• Reviewing and processing invoices received from vendors, suppliers, and  service providers
• Set up new vendors through our EFTSure verification system to verify their bank details against bank database. Verifying the accuracy and legitimacy of 
• invoices, ensuring that goods or services were received as per the agreed-upon 
• terms. verifying vendors through our EFTSure system.
• Entering invoice details and relevant financial information into the company's 
• accounting system Epicor.
• Coordinating and processing payments to vendors and suppliers according to established payment terms and schedules.
• Monitoring and managing the company's expenses in Promaster, and ensuring 
• compliance with financial policies.
• Corresponding with vendors regarding payment inquiries, discrepancies, and other financial matters.
• Maintaining accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions, invoices, and payment documentation.
• Reconciling accounts payable records with statements from vendors and resolving any discrepancies.
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and legal 
  requirements related to accounts payable processes. Ensuring compliance with internal IT policies related to phishing, scams and fraudulent emails.
• Generating reports on accounts payable activities, financial liabilities, and 
  outstanding payments for management review. 

The Sales position is responsible for revenue generation from new and existing customers within event portfolio in Informa Markets Philippines. This role will manage Sales to different tier customers depending on the market and brand context.  This team is critical to the business, as the key to our success is retention, growth and cultivating new business.

The Sales role will involve a combination of internal and external sales activity, meeting customers face to face and attending competitor events. He/ She will sell to valued existing customers, generate new business, and performance will be evaluated based on achieving revenue and new business targets.

The Sales will be expected to develop their awareness of the brand industry, building greater insight over time. Maintaining and strengthening the relationship throughout the year is an important focus, to develop an understanding of the customers’ needs and expectations from their attendance at the event. He/ She will understand the customers’ needs and articulate a compelling value proposition as part of the sale. They will have a significant role in supporting re-booking of customers at an Event, while also providing support as a guest re-booker for other brands.

Job Responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed revenue target for assigned accounts through sales (digital, booth, sponsorship/ advertisement, and fully integrated packages)
• Sell to existing/ lapsed customer accounts with engaging conversations and compelling proposals while guiding them through buying process
• Prospect and close new business opportunities inside and outside of existing client base through cold calling and follow-up calling
• Leverage understanding of customer buying trends to help develop Sales plans and approaches
• Execute on assigned Sales campaigns, against accounts, products, and revenue targets, in line with sales plan
• Support the on-site re-booking of existing customer accounts, in line with at event account allocation and sales targets
• Maintain accurate pipeline, sales activity, and customer information within Salesforce (CRM system)
• Distribute customer insight and marketing information to marketing team
• Manage the handing over of sale information and customer requirements (via Salesforce) to the event Operations and Brand teams
