Job Purpose :
This position is responsible and accountable for the overall business development requirements / strategies across three business units of the Company.
Job Scope:
1. Initiates new product development and conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
2. Communicates with existing and new supplier/s for identified products for introduction to the market.
3. Coordinates with BU Heads in developing business strategies for existing and potential accounts.
4. Develops and maintains strong relationships with all key account personnel and relevant functions in order to support selling, market development, service effort and clinical programs.
Responsibilities:
1) Work with / brainstorm with R&D, BU Heads, Product Manager and Sales team for potential products / business.
2) Communicate with suppliers thru emails and cold calls for the technical data and products samples of potential products.
3) Attend industry events and trade shows to identify new market trends, potential products and competitorās activities.
4) Review literatures and brochures for potential new business ideas.
5) Synthesizes all market information and insights to support new business development, strategy formulation and other market reach initiatives.
6) Assists in developing creative strategies to retain the clients including interviewing them to take their feedback and incorporate it into the growth plan.
