Research unapplied cash values in order to determine whether funds can be applied against a bona fide A/R invoice, or whether funds should be earmarked for refund to customer.

Responsibilities:

• Work under guidance of Assistant Accountant on specific books of unapplied cash. 
• Conduct input / research work against specific unapplied cash values, using NetSuite accounting system and establish if the cash value is listed on the universal daily deposit spreadsheet.  
• Determine form of unapplied payment, i.e. Check / ACH / Credit Card / Credit Memo. Establish if a specific invoice connected thereto is “open”.  
• Process and reconcile payments  by accurately locating, and correctly tagging payment remit, and validating invoice information
• Identify from the remit whether the unapplied payment is a duplicate payment, a regular overpayment, an overpayment, an issued Credit Memo, JE / AR transfer, awaiting missing remittance, information not posted in NetSuite, a sales tax issue, an incorrect vendor. Ultimately determine if the client submitting the remittance needs to be contacted for more information.  
• Understand and resolve unapplied payment through audit, research and backtracking. 
• Note corresponding solutions to rectify the cash postings and action accordingly.  
• Record findings in Excel tracker. 

• Minimum 3 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• College degree, Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred
• Ability to analyze, develop, initiate, and implement plans and strategies to achieve goals
• Must have excellent computer skills in MS office, and the individual should have knowledge of accounting software, spreadsheet software
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and direct associates
• Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines
• Competency with larger ERP system  
• NetSuite experience preferred
• Confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders

As a Legal Onboarding & Business Junior Officer you will:

• Assist the team with the coordination and preparation of fee proposals for Alternative Investment Funds investing in alternative asset classes e.g. real estate, private equity, debt, and infrastructure, as well as Corporate structures with the guidance of your line manager.
• Coordinate between various internal and external stakeholders, with the guidance of your line manager, to ensure a smooth onboarding process for clients until handover to the operational teams, including the following team duties:
  • AML/ KYC analysis, and driving our internal compliance approval process;
  • Bank account opening coordination;
  • Preparation, and coordinating the review, of service agreements;
  • Attend weekly calls with clients, as well as other key stakeholders;
  • Coordinating the review of legal documents for the structure setup;
  • Actively manage the communication between the client and all stakeholders; and
  • Track and perform all Luxembourg regulatory filings during the onboarding phase.

Position: Virtual Assistant and Social Media Management

Working Hours: EST Mo-Thurs (8 hrs), Friday (2 hrrs), Sun (6 hrs)

• MUST possess the ability to work on a specific schedule. I host webinars and live classes throughout the year and need support immediately after an event. EA/VA will need to be available for ~1 hour immediately after the event. Schedule for events will be provided with at least two weeks’ notice. These events are twice a week in the months of Jan-March and May-July. Aside from the events, hours for other work are consistent and less rigid.
• MUST be detail-oriented, meticulous, organized, accountable and responsible.
• Familiarity with Notion, Slack, and Loom is a plus
• With good to excellent communication skills, minor is acceptable

Salary: P40,000 – P70,000 (Monthly Package)

Schedule: Monday - Friday (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM EST)

• Contact and respond to team member requests for statements, investment performance, cash distributions and performance reports or the team.
• Process and follow up on operational duties linked to new accounts, transfers, risk management, and transactions.
• Breakout State Tax Returns from Federal Tax Returns.
• Fill in tracking sheet for tax returns.
• Assist with Billing.
• Cost basis reconciliation.
• Maintain tracking sheet for calendar of meetings and managing and scheduling meetings.
• Establish, develop, maintain and update client files.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date data in Microsoft CRM and other internal systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
