What a Consulting Program Head, Visa Consulting & Analytics does at Visa:

We are looking for an individual to join us as a Consulting Program Head in the VCA team based in the Philippines. This individual will act as the overall program head to deliver end-to-end consulting engagements for our key issuing, acquiring, merchant & fintech clients. Typically, the individual will closely interact & work with the client team gathering and managing project inputs, analyzing data to form conclusions and recommendations, developing and presenting compelling project reports and working with clients on executing recommendations. 

The program will include initiatives that cover payment strategy review and roadmap design, portfolio and product-market fit assessment, customer value proposition design/refresh, people/talent enablement, digital payments wallet assessment and launch, mobile banking app diagnostics and enhancement, and other growth initiatives. It will also cover improving customer engagement on client portfolios powered by Visa’s data, collaborating closely with the data science teams on building data-driven solutions (e.g. AI model deployment).

The Consulting Program Head will be responsible for identifying potential clients’ business pain-points and areas for strategy and process improvement, thereby defining project scope deliverables and revenue opportunity to sell-in client engagement projects and building new practice solutions.

• Contribute to the development of VCA’s consulting offerings and engagement delivery in the Philippines to help Visa clients protect and grow payments 
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with client senior executives through impactful consulting engagements
• Partner with peers in other functional areas (e.g., product, marketing, risk, innovation) to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa’s resources
• Prepare client proposals and project plans, identifying dependencies, roles and responsibilities, scope and deliverables
• Participate in delivering project engagements by preparing project materials including interview guides, data requirements, concepts, frameworks
• Conduct industry research, drawing on Visa and partner resources as well as colleagues to identify global best practices and distill insights relevant to the client problem at hand
• Create compelling presentations to illustrate findings, ideas, recommendations within consulting engagements and more broadly

Your key tasks

• Assess and categorize incidents based on their impact, urgency, and priority, in alignment with predefined incident management guidelines
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including support teams and subject matter experts, to gather necessary information for incident severity assessment
• Provide clear and concise communication to stakeholders, including senior management, regarding incident status, impact, and resolution plans in timely and accurate manner
• Ability to communicate well and manage highly stressful situations over the phone. Demonstrate proven leadership qualities removing any ambiguity as to who is coordinating the incident resolution
• Ability to coordinate and drive technical bridges during a major event, asking the right questions, and steering the support teams towards quick mitigation, work-around or resolution to limit the financial and reputational exposure
• Continuously evaluate and refine the incident severity assessment process to improve its accuracy and efficiency
• Monitor and report on the performance of the incident severity assessment process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures as needed

• Problem Management: Experience in various problem-solving methods like five whys, Fish bone etc. End to end ownership to initiate, track and the closure of problem tickets and the preventive actions.
• Participate in the standard Post-mortem (Root cause analysis) process to ensure no repeat of any technology incidents with known root cause.
• Post Incident activity to ensure highest levels of service quality and improving service levels through identification of problem trends and causes which impact the delivery of production services.
• KPI Metrics and Reporting: Capture Incident timelines in ticketing tools, Incident Impact and Resolution Duration and the associated KPIs.
• Standby support after business hour on rotation basis.

Sheladia Associates is seeking a professional Team Leader/Project Management Specialist to join our team for an upcoming, ADB funded Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project in Philippines.

The project aims to enhance: flood and climate change resilience that is consistent with the Philippines Development Plan of 2023-2028 (PDP). The project’s major outcome is to reduce flood risk in three river basins.

The Team Leader/Project Management Specialist will provide the following services:

• Over-all liaison with the implementing agencies;
• Maintain good coordination among the Client, Asian Development Bank (ADB) and other stakeholders;
• Coordination of the input and output of the sub-teams (Outputs 1, 2 and 3) of consultants (both in the field and home based);
•  Quality control of work carried out and output delivered by the sub-teams;
