The Retail Manager is responsible to spearhead and develop the IKEA market in the Philippines in-line with IKEA Vision, Business Idea and HR Idea, in securing the short, medium, and long-term growth, and profitability. This will primarily be achieved through establishing a robust omnichannel business centred around IKEA stores, actively seeking out new business opportunities, enhancing commercial viability to boost profits and market presence, and assembling a skilled and high-achieving team.

As a member of the Ikano Retail Management Team (IRMT), this individual will also significantly to shaping the overarching direction, governance, and alignment of Ikano Retail.

Your assignment

• Lead and develop the retail direction on country level, meeting today’s and future consumers’ needs, build on country specific retail and operational context.
• Take full responsibility for the country profit & loss and ensuring adherence to business objectives and compliance with IKEA concepts.
• Lead efforts to expand IKEA’s sales channels, aiming to in maximise sales, profitability and increase market share.
• Lead the country Management Team to identify and capitalise on commercial opportunities, executing the country business plan and strategic initiatives.
• Foster the growth of a diverse talent pipeline essential for IKEA's present and future expansion.
• Serve as the primary spokesperson for media and government authorities.
• Create the pre-conditions for a thriving IKEA concept with strong emphasis on a People & Planet positive strategy, integrating Ikano sustainability agenda across various functional areas.

• Provide technical leadership to a team responsible for project implementation activities for a diverse client base, driving cross functional delivery of systems and services to customers 

• Represent assigned AP markets across the Client Delivery function Build, maintain and communicate detailed market synopsis, including but not limited to key regulatory requirements, processing nuances, key client and domestic partners, competitor landscape etc.

• Provide functional responsibility for leading an Implementations team and to increase knowledge sharing and learnings to enable consistent interaction with clients 

• Provide leadership and strategic guidance during the various phases of project management and commercialization process to ensure all necessary tools, processes, procedures, and staff are in place to support successful execution

• Attract, develop, motivate and retain a team of high performing, high potential professionals who are well positioned to become future leaders in the company

• Build a strong and cohesive team by providing leadership to direct reports through coaching, setting strategic direction and applying working knowledge of Visa products, systems, and procedures. Instill an inclusive team culture and provide continuous coaching and training to the team

• Ensure the team represents client needs to internal stakeholder organizations including Client Services, Sales, Product, Systems, Risk and Legal through accurate business requirements and ongoing advocacy

• Establish and foster relationships with Client and internal stakeholders at all levels of staff and senior management

• Stay current with industry and client trends and maintain a strong knowledge of Visa products and services

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Work Hours: M-F; 9:00 AM-5:00 PM EST / 10:00 PM-6:00 AM PH Time

Salary: 2,000-3,000 USD per month

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete daily bank deposits and cash applications.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations.
• Manage cash flow daily.
• Complete financial statement reviews on a monthly or quarterly basis.
• Complete year-end close-out.
• Create and maintain ongoing company budgets.
• Review proformas and urgent payment for vendors.
• Manage credit card payments in Paytrace and apply in QuickBooks.
• Maintain all project-related files on the company-wide shared drive.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CFO, with extensive experience in growth and middle-market companies.
• Proficient in using QuickBooks and has experience with various online banking portals.

• Background in distribution businesses, preferably with drop ship experience.
• Exceptional leadership abilities and experience in managing finance teams.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• A track record of success in strategic financial planning and execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or CPA is highly preferred.
• Ability to operate at a high level of autonomy, demonstrating both strategic thinking and the capacity to lead day-to-day financial operations.
