We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting and finance team. In this role, you will handle various accounts payable duties, including validating and reconciling invoices, coding invoices for payment, and managing reporting and other finance-related tasks. Attention to detail is crucial, and prior experience in telecommunications and BPOs is highly desirable.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Document Control

• Receives all types of documents whether they are internally initiated or coming from outside sources like AML, suppliers, and third-party customers
• Updates Documents Master Index and maintains Document Master Copy file.
• Issues applicable documents to controlled file holders and ensures that current documents are available in designed areas.
• Releases notifications regarding newly-approved and obsolete documents.
• Conducts dissemination and orientation of DCC procedures to AMPI employees.

Records Control

• Supervises records scanning activity for the conversion of paper quality records to electronic file.
• Conducts buy-off on scanned records, highlights discrepancy and coordinates with concerned personnel for the necessary corrections.
• Assist borrowers during retrieval of quality records in the retention area.
• Provides assistance on how to use and navigate eRRS (Electronic Record Retrieval System)/network storage.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives

• Review procedures and systems relative to DCC operations and updates them regularly for the enhancement of services.
• Reviews and updates Goals and Objectives regularly to track down accomplishments.
• Update Key Performance Indicator tracking for analysis of DCC performance. Highlights areas for improvement.

Other Functions

• Participates in audit related to Document and Records Control System.
• Updates DCC Budget semi-annually and CAPEX yearly. Update fixed assets for DCC.
• Monitors inventory of supplies. Highlights needed materials/supplies and generates Purchase Requisitions to ensure availability.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of any computer-related course or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office

You do not need to have previous legal experience or aspirations of becoming a lawyer to be considered for this position. Law students are welcome to apply but you must have a minimum 2-3 years left on your studies and be able to work full time without your studies affecting your ability to perform the work required or your attendance at work.
