The Assistant Manager - HR provides visible, accessible and trusted human resources support for designated management and employees throughout the designated countries, such as recruitment, selection, induction, payroll, performance management, people and organisational development, compensation and benefits, and employee relations. Act as HR lead on Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations & Payroll for APAC region.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Personnel, Payroll Administration

- Coordinate the business process outsourcing payroll and ensure a timely and correct payroll administration of employees and team members in designated country. Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of up to date internal descriptions of payroll administration processes. Manage local HR related audits.
- Ensure a timely and correct personnel and payroll administration of employees in APAC region.
- Accountable for the HRIS updates. Review, propose changes & maintain the online HR Portals as applicable.
- Execute HR processes including but not limited to onboarding, transfer and leavers. Contribute to the optimization of HR processes, signaling bottlenecks, initiating improvements and preparing and updating work/process description.

2. Compensation & Benefits

- Implement, review & administer policies, processes and tools (related to such as insurances, pension, staff handbooks terms and conditions, annual compensation reviews and bonus processes).
- Maintain an up to date and coherent Job and Reward framework (job profiles, job levels, job titles, job families, C&B packages, variable pay programs) based on internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Support to manage ongoing employee compensation programs including annual compensation reviews, promotion cycles, salary proposals, and bonus programs in the region.
- Provide support in preparing job offers, promotions, transfers and dismissal cases.
- Ensure up to date publication of C&B policies, processes and tools on the HR Portal. Provide information sessions for managers and employees.

3. Human Resources Business Partner

- Provide support to management in recruitment, selection, induction and retention of new hires with Omron DNA within a pre-defined process, timeline and key performance indicators.
- Coordinate and support management in the performance management cycle processes across the region regarding performance development reviews, performance improvement activities, mid year reviews, personal development planning, talent reviews and succession planning.
- Support management in identifying development needs and facilitate development activities (on individual, team and organisational level).

4. Ensure and maintain all regulations of Company to keep in line with government regulations, to avoid the existence of issues that can disrupt the stability and operations of the Company and establish a positive employer-employee relationship.

5. Contribute in developing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing HR strategies, policies, processes, instruments, systems and KPI's.

6. Participate in and lead HR projects as defined in the annual HR action plans.

7. Support & deliver any other adhoc duties assigned by Manager.

- Masters or Degree in Human Resources Management.
- Understanding of and familiarity with social security legislation and labor legislation in APAC is highly advantageous.

through relationship management with the BPOs.

This role will focus on driving improvement in delivery management core processes and opportunities, BPO performance and customer satisfaction.

• Act as the main point of contact for the BPO and handle their day-to-day communication and requirements.

What might your days look like

As a Customer Care Specialist (Payroll), you’ll be working within our Customer Experience team and will be responsible for gathering information from customers and ensuring their continued support and success after implementing our Employment Hero Payroll product. In this role, you will be supporting our customers to ensure accuracy and will be responsible for resolving customer tickets efficiently and effectively. As a Customer Care Specialist (Payroll) you'll be responsible for;

• Responding to and resolving customer tickets, calls and queries related to the Employment Hero payroll Platform in a timely manner.
• Assist and collaborate with the wider squad and support team to provide best practice system use and education to all our customers.
• Proactively analyse and understand product functionality across the platform and logic in detail; and testing in platforms to identify user error/system logic and related root causes by maintaining comprehensive awareness of product changes and enhancements.
• Conduct/triage customer support issues and assign to the appropriate team or resolve where possible.
• Escalating issues related to bugs or product logic/functionality concerns as necessary, in collaboration with Seniors/Team Leads and the Product Team.
• Working with customers across multi channels (email, chat, phone) to understand their organisational workflow and how the platform can support them to maximise their people processes.
• Leveraging Zendesk, Salesforce and other internal tools for maintaining records, ticket investigations and referencing customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs)
• Proactively contribute feature requests and Help Centre suggestions, where warranted and using customer insights.

What will you bring:

• 1-2 years experience with proven results in a fast paced customer service/support environment across live chat and email.
• Relevant Australian payroll Experience e.g. KeyPay/Employment Hero
• Prior exposure to customer experience within a SaaS (Software as a Service) environment.
• Exposure to working in fluid, high change and high velocity environments.
• Problem solving skills with a sound and thorough approach to troubleshooting.

WHAT IS YOUR ROLE

As the Manager of Global Total Rewards, you will provide support to our most important asset: our people. Your mission is to review, develop, and implement the best benefit & compensation strategies at Boldr. You will ensure that compensation and benefits programs support the organization's business objectives and meet all legal requirements. You will develop and manage compensation and benefits budgets. You’ll oversee compensation processes, including Mercer survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, base pay administration, incentive/bonus plan design, and analysis.

• Lead global total rewards, including compensation and benefits, with a direct impact on Boldr’s ability to attract and retain top talent while balancing financial and business objectives.
• Drive large, complex projects and processes on matters of strategic importance to the business and the HR function (i.e. compensation cycle twice a year).
• Influence others to drive innovative approaches to sustain a high-performing culture that attracts, motivates, retains, and rewards employees.
• Ensure the effectiveness of new and existing compensation and benefits policies, guidelines, and procedures, as well as compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Challenge and innovate existing People policies to create a better environment for team members and Boldr.
• Harness people's insights to drive meaningful actions and evidence-based decision-making.
• Mentor and collaborate effectively with our People Leadership Team, exemplifying a leadership mindset.
• Act as a point of escalation for team members, addressing ideas, issues, and concerns with empathy and expertise.
• Equip the team with the tools, resources, and knowledge necessary to excel in key organizational initiatives.
• Define and implement short and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.

You Will Stand Out if You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• Experience with PayScale & Payfactor
• Experience with Mercer Surveys
• 6+ years of progressive expertise in compensation.
• 3+ years of experience in employee benefits administration, plans, processes & documentation. Knowledge of insurance, retirement plans, work/life balance, well-being, paid time off/leave, etc
• 2+ years of proven experience in a people leadership role.
• Total Rewards experience in a BPO or staffing environment is preferred.

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in customer support, service, or help desk, and ideally within the financial industry.
• Prior experience in lending, particularly in a consumer-facing or phone-based capacity, with a preference for Australian mortgage lending.
• An exceptional communicator with outstanding customer service skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and excellent organizational skills. Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

What will you do?

Inbound / Outbound Calls

• Ensures timely response to inbound calls.
• Efficiently resolves inquiries by addressing the root cause to meet customer needs.
• Initiates outbound calls as needed to address customer concerns.
• Adopts a "First Time Right" approach to resolve inquiries promptly whenever feasible.

Help Desk Ticket Management

• Supervise and oversee email and live chat communications.
• Handle a queue of support tickets with conflicting priorities.
• Investigate, address, or prioritize tickets using outbound calls, emails, or chats.
• Elevate tickets to the appropriate internal team or third-party partner with all relevant details when necessary.
• Keep customers informed about ongoing issues in a consistent and timely manner following SLAs.
