Job Description
Our Digital Marketing Account Managers are our front-facing, client-oriented team members who strive to guide great marketing campaigns, help educate our clients about campaigns and processes, and make sure campaigns are running smoothly and on time.
As the bridge between our SEO, blogging, and PPC teams, our Account Managers go above and beyond for our clients and help ensure our processes are efficient. Being a natural problem solver is a must, and our Account Managers are always thinking of ways to improve or create new ways of helping our clients.
Because our Account Managers look after our most highly valued clients, they are detail-oriented and help ensure our clients are getting the best value and quality out of our services.
Primary Responsibilities
- Be the main point of contact for clients who sign up for multiple services and spend $1,500+ per month
- Taking onboarding, quarterly, and additional client calls with a friendly, clear, and confident phone manner
- Understanding the ins and outs of our digital marketing services to know how to keep them on track, when they are working, and when to offer additional or alternative services to clients
- Respond to client questions in a timely manner to make sure they feel easily connected to their campaigns
- Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising campaign progress and results
- Coordinate and keep on track SEO, Link Building, PPC, and Blogging campaigns
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working closely with multiple projects and clients where close communication and relationship building was fundamental to the role
- Ability to multitask on different projects whilst keeping everything organised
- Solid communication skills with clients, being able to adapt to their level of knowledge so that you can explain enough about the campaign for them to comfortably understand the campaign, why it’s being run, and what type of results they can expect
- A well-rounded understanding of marketing concepts, including blogging campaigns, intermediate knowledge of Google Ads or other PPC campaigns, keyword research, and SEO fundamentals and best practices
- Beginner to intermediate understanding of website analysis, using Google Search Console and Google Analytics, and website audit tools such as ahrefs
- Being able to perform additional marketing research to help our specialist understand the client’s industry and goals
