Role: Legal Assistant
Work schedule: Full Time | 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time
Salary Range: up to US $1,500 per month (Dependent on your skills and experience)
About the Role:
The Legal Assistant plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations across various business functions, including executive support, legal assistance, project management, and sales operations. This dynamic position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Executive Support: Manage the executive’s calendar, including scheduling meetings (minimal), appointments, and travel arrangements. Handle email correspondence and prioritize tasks.

- Documentation for Exec and Team (Client-Work)
- Legal Assistance: Conduct legal research, draft and proofread documents (e.g., NDAs, contracts), and coordinate with internal/external legal counsel.
- Paralegal Duties: Maintain and organize legal files, assist with case management, and monitor deadlines for filings.
- Project Management: Track project timelines, organize tasks, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Sales Support: Follow up with leads, assist with client communications, and manage back-end sales tasks.
- Operational Support: Assist with event and meeting coordination, perform market research, and manage administrative tasks.
Immediate tasks anticipated for the candidate to fully own on week 1:
- Orientation and introduction to the executive's daily schedule and communication preferences.
- Begin managing calendar and scheduling tasks.
- Review existing legal documents and familiarize with contract management systems.
- Assist with organizing and updating ongoing case files.
- Coordinate follow-up communications with leads and clients.
- Paralegal or legal support experience (non-negotiable), with a background in project management or business operations.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar), Trello/Asana for project management, DocuSign for digital document handling and Slack for communication
- Familiarity with legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis); client-facing experience
- Tech-savvy, preferably with experience in tech or startup environments, and familiar with AI-driven tools.
- Accent-neutral with strong communication skills, able to interact effectively across business units and with clients.
