Responsibilities

• Own functional, regression, and acceptance testing of web applications. Testing layout, interface usability, and looking for user experience improvements.
• Participate in the software development life cycle from beginning to end.
• Create and execute test plans for existing products and features.
• Work with development teams to define testing protocols for new features as they are designed and developed.
• Provide additional cross-functional test support for other team members
• Develop test scenarios from requirements and ensure maximum requirement traceability.
• Providing detailed bug reports to the Engineering Team using JIRA.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. Developers, QA Lead, and Product Managers) to identify system requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Other tasks may be assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Computer or Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.
• Experience in automation testing using Cypress, JMeter, Postman, or Selenium is an advantage
• Experience working on web protocols and data formats such as HTTPS and JSON.
• Experience testing cloud APIs.
• Good understanding of common UI/UX principles, paradigms, and user journeys.
• Knowledge of testing automation frameworks and software
• Basic knowledge of integrating test automation in CI/CD pipelines

Work Hours (MNL) : 12am to 9am PST | M - F

Holidays :       PH regular and special holidays

Pay Range : $800-$1500/month (depending on interview assessment and client's approval) Please take note that pay will be given in USD

Incentive : This role will have a quota in a given week (TBD with the client) and incentives will be provided for exceeding the quota to reward high-quality work and efficiency

Company/Client Overview:

Company is a Los Angeles-based intelligence platform that helps biopharma companies & investors make better decisions by automating manual processes and allowing them to run novel analyses. Today, biotech analysis is a cumbersome, limited and error-prone process despite significant investment hinging on their output. Sleuth will be building the infrastructure upon which more rigorous analyses & data aggregation will be built, changing the way that diligence & research is done in the bioeconomy. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Data Entry:

• Enter and update clinical trial information into designated templates / spreadsheets.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of data, adhering to established standards and guidelines.

Research:

• Conduct thorough desktop research to gather relevant information
• Leverage public & proprietary resources, including clinicaltrials.gov, PubMed, PDF reports and databases

Quality Assurance:

• Perform quality checks on entered data to identify and correct any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and consistency

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, data management, information technology) would be a plus
• Virtual Assistant, Admin Assistant, or Data Analyst experience is acceptable as long as with data entry experience
• Experience in data entry or a related role, preferably within the biopharma or healthcare industry is a plus
• Familiarity with clinical trial processes and terminology is a plus
• Strong research skills and the ability to extract information from scientific publications.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in using data entry tools and software (i.e. Google Sheets, Excel, Slack, Zoom, Adobe, etc.).
• Ability to set up basic VPN to setup location in the US would be helpful
