About the team

Participate in the sales lead process to generate new business opportunities in support of FIS sales goals and objectives.

What you will be doing

• Pre-qualifies sales leads received through various channels (telephone, website, tradeshows, company events, etc. in conjunction with lead generation best practices including, but not limited to pre-qualification rating system, pre-call prep and call guide development.

• Generates sales leads through outbound calling in conjunction with lead generation programs.

• Maintains sales lead documentation.

• Nurtures long-term opportunities to continue FIS communication in early stages prior to the sales cycle.

• Supports all strategic and targeted sales and marketing campaigns through comprehensive data collection.

• Tracks and evaluates campaign effectiveness and reports findings to manager.

• Supports enterprise lead generation activities, in addition to tracking and reporting on all lead generation marketing programs to drive revenue opportunities into the sales pipeline.

• Demonstrates product knowledge and executes lead generation activities for one or more business lines/units.

• Ensures timely lead follow-up by assigned sales executive and conversion of pre-qualified leads to further stages within the sales process.

• Prepares lead generation reports and presents results to end constituents guiding them via interactive interpretation on the results, cause, and potential next-step actions.

• Identifies areas of opportunity, prepares business presentations, and executes with assigned business lines/units.

• Gathers and updates competitive data and contact information to support future sales and marketing activities.

• Other related duties assigned as needed.
 

What you bring

• Qualifying leads for sales team processing.

• Experience in VBA, Macros, Excel automation

• Background in any banking software solutions is a plus

• Good communication skills to both internal and external client

• Attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality and database management
• Knowledge of basic problem resolution and escalation practices
• Ability to apply contract administration and practices concepts
• Analytical, statistical and problem solving skills
• Organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

The Team

Provide levels 1 and level 2 support for client-facing systems and applications including midrange systems, switches, networks, processor links, ATM’s, servers- windows, UNIX, Linux and internet applications.

What you will be doing

• Drives issue resolution by making critical decisions that may impact multiple clients’ processing.
• Proactively investigates known and unknown error conditions and follows prescribed error correction procedures when they apply.
• Maintains peak performance at full capacity for all systems.
• Follows new/improved work procedures where appropriate, tests and implements program and/or systems changes, responds to processing problems and exercises sound judgment to make client impacting processing adjustments.
• Recognizes abnormal processing conditions and makes appropriate response decisions.
• Follows escalation procedures when appropriate to resolve errors in a timely manner.
• Makes use of available documentation to resolve errors and identifies/implements documentation gaps.
• Recognizes and implements/automates process enhancements.
• Monitors and responds accordingly to an array of system and application generated messages.
• Responds in a timely manner to questions and requests from incoming calls and incident tickets.
• Proactively maintains contact with clients and serves as client advocate to internal organizations.
• Analyzes problems/trends with client systems and applications and takes steps to avoid recurrence.
• Works on internal and external projects of various sizes, complexity.
• Contributes to existing and develops new solution approaches to the IT environment.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you bring

• Batch operations (monitoring, scheduling, reporting)
• Solarwinds or other monitoring software

• ServiceNow or other IT ticketing software

• Knowledge in Unix/Linux or Windows based systems

• Payments switch and/or ATM operations experience is a plus
