What you will need:

• At least 10 years of background with software testing for Banking and Payments clients

• Must have background with transaction switching or Payments Testing experience (eftpos, card schemes MCard etc.) and has worked with Banking and Payments Industry.

• Must have experience in testing using stubs and simulators

• Must have experience in Schemes Certification testing using EMV

• Must be familiar with ISO8583 message processing & Switch – Payments processing.

• ISTQB Foundation Software Testing certification

• Proficiency in quality management methods, tools and technologies.

• A bachelor’s in computer science, information systems, business administration or other related discipline, or the equivalent experience

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience in the following Applications: IST/Merchant Account & Settlement (MAS), IST/Clearing (CLR), Data Navigator, Connex &/or Webpay/Digipay

• Experience in the following Tools/Sims: Test Rail, Jira, FINsim

• Background with POS & ATM

• Background working with Australian clients is a big plus

What you will be doing:

• Plan and support the sales strategies, position FIS solution to financial services prospects / clients.

• Discover and understand the business impact of the prospect’s business requirements in order to assess product fit, to identify any solution gaps, advise customer and internal stakeholders on overall solution architecture.

• Perform solution presentations and deliver system demonstrations, that are fit for purpose and well adapted for business user and C-Level

• Respond to RFI / RFP / customer queries and deliver the POC in a timely and professional manner

• Proactively generate business growth ideas across your solution set by defining the corresponding Go-To-Market and solution set offering

• Deliver the end-to-end solution design / architecture for prospects and existing customers

• Provide industry thought leadership, engage with the regulatory bodies, business associations, sector magazines, clients to remain updated on the present and future industry drivers and challenges

• Design solution architecture, complementing within a prospect’s solution landscape, sometimes envisioned

• Work closely with other FIS business solution teams for the multiple FIS solutions and services

• Collaborate and support to presales colleagues in other parts of the world, provide relevant market needs and product gap information to Product Management and Development teams.

• Assist Professional Services team during scoping sessions to ensure continuity and efficient handover.

What you bring:

• Excellent presentation and communication skill in English

• 8+ years of experience in Solution Consulting, Presales, Business Analysis, Lending applications / products

• Sound knowledge of Asset Financing, Leasing, Hire Purchase, Loan Servicing and Management

• Good understanding on Accounting for Loans and Leases, Dealer Financing, Wholesale Lending

• Hands-on experience dealing with Asset Financing / Lending Solutions

• Solutioning mind-set, with ‘out of the box’, thinking focus.

• An open-minded approach to learning about other new products, markets trends, innovations

About the team

Creates and maintains the processes of the division’s quality program. Also provides consulting for software development or operations processes, quality practices, quality audits and software measurements to product development or operations teams within the division and to clients.

What you will be doing

• Develops, maintains and upgrades Manual or Automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans

• Performs usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability and security.

• Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms

•Controls and manages own daily test activities

• Provides internal quality assurance.
• Supports test lead to identify risks and develops mitigation strategies.
• Organizes and maintains the test script library.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you bring

• Experience in Manual AND Automation testing are required

• Cobol mainframe background is a plus but not required

• Has worked on Payments / Credit Cards systems is a plus

• Any Banking Systems exposure is good to have

• Knowledge of methods, tools and technology used in software testing
• Knowledge and use of quality management methods, tools and technology used to create and support defect-free, application software that meets needs of client/business partner
• Knowledge of basic principles, processes, phases and roles of application development methodologies
