SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

As a Senior Finance Analyst - Shared Services, you will be responsible for reconciling bank transactions with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) records on a daily or weekly basis. Key tasks include verifying financial transactions, resolving discrepancies between bank statements and accounting records, and working with departments like AP, AR, and treasury. The role also includes posting journal entries, performing monthly bank reconciliations, and handling US bank account reconciliations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Monitor and reconcile records between bank transactions and AR/AP sub-ledger on a daily/weekly basis
• Verify the accuracy of financial transactions such as payments, receipts, and transfers.
• Match and verify individual items on the bank statement with accounting records to detect discrepancies or errors.
• Investigate any discrepancies, such as missing transactions or incorrect entries, and take corrective actions.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury, to resolve issues.
• Post journal entries for reconciling items (e.g., bank charges, interest income, miscellaneous deposits, or other adjustments) to the general ledger.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations in account reconciliation tool for all assigned bank accounts.
• Will handle reconciliation for US bank accounts 
• Assist in providing the necessary documentation and support for internal and external audits.
• Provide explanations for any discrepancies or adjustments identified during audits.
• Support other month end closing activities
• Assist in special projects related to bank reconciliation and Treasury Management System when necessary.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

As a Senior Accounts Payable Accountant (Japanese Speaker), you will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, ensuring timely processing and validation of invoices. This includes matching Purchase Orders and Goods Receipts, resolving invoice discrepancies, and handling inquiries from complex suppliers and stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves reviewing and reconciling supplier accounts, preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements is essential, along with performing assigned ad hoc activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Perform day to day financial transactions, including timely and accurate processing and validation of invoices.
• Ensure that Purchase Orders (PO) and Goods Receipts (GR) are properly matched and processed (3-way/2-way match).
• Verify, investigate, and handle invoice discrepancies and invoices on hold for assigned entities and suppliers.
• Complete problem resolution, analyze aging reporting, and open GR report to solve pending issues.
• Handle and resolve inquiries from complex suppliers and stakeholders.
• Work cross functionally to resolve any invoice/payment issues.
• Review and reconcile complex and critical supplier statement of accounts against company's records.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliation at month end for the assigned accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct reconciliation of customer point of sales and inventory against company records
• Track inventory on hand and sold through for customer and interface with customer to ensure accuracy of claimed rebates
• Provide support and training to customers regarding the point of sale data and inventory report process
• Load system data required to reconcile inventory
• Analyze distributor disputes in line with POS and inventory mismatch
• Helps perform necessary activities; prepare reports and documents for monthly and quarterly close.
