We are looking for a highly driven and motivated Manager, External Reporting & Controlling (APAC) to join our fast-growing team here in APAC. If you are looking for a place where you can gain hands-on experience and create direct impact, then this may be the place for you! The ideal candidate should have around 8 years of experience, with substantial hands-on experience in accounting and FP&A and possess strong knowledge of IFRS reporting and SAP systems. You must be a strong team player and be comfortable in supporting an international team as you will be working cross-functionally with the in-country Finance team, Regional team in APAC as well as central team in Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for review of monthly actual financial results, including but not limited to balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement in accordance with IFRS and Group Reporting policies.
- Work closely with the country finance teams, provide in-depth analysis of monthly financial results against budget and forecast, and meaningful insights to the senior management team at the regional headquarters.
- Collaborate with Regional Accounting, Controlling and Central teams to align on accounting, cost and revenue treatments to ensure compliance with IFRS reporting and Group Financial Reporting Policies.
- Work closely with local finance teams and provide additional support to ensure that month-end closing tasks are completed in a timely manner and Group submission timelines are met consistently.
- Provide guidance to local finance teams to ensure that all reconciliation items are investigated and cleared up promptly.
- Lead the periodic regional review of compliance with Group Reporting Policies and Controlling Guidelines, identify areas of non-compliance and provide recommendations.
- Support the implementation of updates to Group Reporting Guidelines.
- Drive ad-hoc projects that have the potential to enhance the financial reporting accuracy, efficiency and operational processes.
- Support overall goals and objectives of Regional Accounting and Controlling.
- Handle other ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned from time to time.
