Your Responsibilities

As a Junior ESG Research Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting RepRisk's growth and global reach by helping maintain a database for media sources, and analyzing and entering risk incidents from various media into the RepRisk ESG Risk Platform. RepRisk facilitates the identification and assessment of environmental, social and corporate governance issues which may present financial, reputational and ethical risks. It is used by investment professionals, financial institutions, supply chain managers, multinational corporations and compliance managers. The RepRisk ESG Risk Platform plays an integral role in increasing transparency and ensuring compliance with internal and international standards, thereby helping reduce risk exposure.

• Creating profiles for media sources and maintaining the source database by gathering complete and accurate information.
• Identifying and assessing risk incidents related to environmental, social and corporate governance issues
• Evaluating the incident and source according to our proprietary methodology
• Entering newly criticized companies, projects, etc. into the RepRisk® database

Conduct industry and market research for global pharmaceutical and life science industry;

• Support investment banking transactions including: pitchbook preparing, roadshows, due diligence, business/asset valuation, investors relations, etc.;
• Business development activities to support for global client expansion;
• Publish industry reports (for analyst position only)

You will

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal;
• Medical professional or medical background is preferred;
• Overseas education background or working experiences is a plus;

The candidate develops innovative predictive models and analytical tools to improve profitability, growth, and operational efficiency. This position will help support predictive modeling needs across a growing portfolio of high-profile advanced analytics projects with the Strategic Analytics team supporting Claim. As a key member of the team you will also play a role in advancing predictive modeling capabilities, enabling Arch to make better decisions.

• Collaborate with experienced modelers to build predictive models and analytic solutions using Python or R; apply techniques such as GLM, decision trees, GBM and NLP
• Manipulate data using R or SQL Server; develop advanced ad hoc queries to investigate data anomalies and to summarize data for pattern detection
• Develop Python or R functions and SQL stored procedures to automate recurring tasks
• Create and maintain documentation associated with models
• Assist in implementation and testing of models
• Develop dashboards in Power BI to facilitate analyses that support modeling efforts or enable model usage
• Monitor the performance and usage of models
