The Software Release Engineer (Release Manager) will be working in our Release Management Hub team in Makati (Metro Manila), taking care of Avaloq software releases for our clients in Region Europe.

We build, configure, and deploy various software artifacts in test, integration, and production environments. You will be responsible for a defined set of customers and support them during various SDLC phases and go live.

Your key tasks

• You will be involved in planning and rollout of various Avaloq products in the controlled environments.
• You will have end-to-end accountability for the successful delivery of releases into the Live environments.
• Accountable for release scope validation with project managers and delivery managers.
• Ensures technical validation of all releases are completed and reported for the Go Live.
• Create and manage implementation plan, release meetings and production cutover.
• Taking responsibility for software packaging, code merge and log analysis of Avaloq core and front platforms
• Collaborating with specialists of different areas for the implementation of cross-domain activities
• Building trustworthy relations with internal and external stakeholders as developers, Project Managers, Test Managers and Client Managers.
• Document and educate the users on release, configuration, DevOps, and deployment management best practices.

Please take good note of the fact that you will work with clients based in Europe; for this reason the chose candidate will follow a mid shift schedule (up to 1:00 AM), as well as on-call availability services on weekends during release and Go Live

Job Overview:

As an Assistant Sales and Marketing Manager, the job will play a crucial role in supervising the sales activities from promotions up to purchase orders.

This job involves maintaining and generating businesses in the Philippines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise all sales activities.
• Regular meetings with potential customers and Suppliers.
• Generate new sales. Sourcing for all potential suppliers and customers for the Philippines market.
• Responsible for the procurement from chemical manufacture companies in PH.
• Maintaining existing businesses with Philippines suppliers and customers.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Provide market insight for the sales of the company’s products.

• Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Science, Marketing, or any related courses.
• With at least 3 to 5 years of experience in sales and marketing.
• Must have a background working in the chemical trading industry or manufacturing of raw materials industry.
• Having experience in trading/selling basic commodity/ chemical raw materials is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and fluency in English.
• Detail-oriented, humble, and has initiative to perform.

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• Certificate or degree qualified in Accounting
• Must have at least 5 years+ of experience as a Finance Manager
• Working towards CA/CPA would be advantageous
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision (essential)
• Experience with Odoo (advantageous)
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel proficiency especially)

What will you do?

To support the CFO to manage all finance functions within the business, with emphasis on AR, AP, payroll, month end and journals. Accuracy of data, timely completion of tasks and attention to detail are key requisites of this role.  

Accounts Receivable

• Process customer invoicing and sending out monthly statements
• Follow up on overdue debts, keeping the CFO informed of any issues
• Receipt of customer payments into the general ledger
• Assist with customer queries into their account.

Accounts Payable

• Enter supplier invoices into the general ledger
• Process payments in the bank accounts for CFO approval
• Reconcile supplier statements with the general ledger
• Liaise with suppliers with any queries that arise

Payroll

• Process monthly payroll in the payroll system for CFO approval and payment
• Add new employees/process staff leaving (resignation or redundancy)
• Process pay changes for employees (eg. Pay increase)
• Assist with staff queries into payroll or leave
• Process monthly payroll journal in the general ledger

General Ledger

• Process all month end journals as agreed with the CFO
• Process all bank account journals per NAB bank statements
• Prepare all balance sheet reconciliations as required
• Review the P&L and Balance Sheet for accuracy
• Maintain fixed asset register
• Assist with any royalty and commission payments required
• Prepare the monthly BAS for CFO review and lodgments

Management Reporting

• Assist the CFO with preparation of management reports, including cash flow forecasts and trade finance positions.
• Assist the CFO with preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasting
• Support the wider business with relevant reporting requirements
• Provide insightful and timely financial analysis on performance of the business

Systems Development

• Support the CFO through the transition from Navision to Odoo
• Review and suggest process improvement opportunities
• Embrace change management and the efficiencies and improvements that Odoo will bring to the business

General
