As a Line of Business Expert for Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling under SC PGA have in-depth knowledge of SAP PP/DS, experience with production planning, and a strong understanding of business processes in manufacturing. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP PP & PP/DS solutions to enhance our production planning and scheduling processes. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, supply chain, and IT, to ensure effective and efficient use of SAP PP/DS to meet business objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

SAP SME:

• SAP Support and Troubleshooting

• User Support: Act as the primary point of contact for SAP PP/DS-related queries and issues.

• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP PP/DS solutions, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.

• Collaboration and Escalation: Collaborates with others, such as SMEs, Module Leads, Consultants, or BITS team, to resolve complex issues that require specialized expertise

Any role with SAP access:

• Ensure the accurate and real-time execution of tasks related to the process/es they are responsible for, including the recording of information and report generation in the designated forms and platforms (e.g. SAP)

• Integrate with other parties/ functions whose processes are interfaced with their processes (to enable alignment, efficient flow of the process, and effective implementation of controls)

Focuses on the Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling SAP Processes

OpCM Representation:

• Operational Change Management

• PM ERP Implementation Methodology: Leads the development and execution of detailed implementation plans for proposed changes in the system (e.g. change requests facilitation), monitoring progress against predefined metrics, and ensuring timely and effective adjustments based on evaluation findings. (Note: Applicable only to OpCM Reps - SMEs)

• Leading Change: Guides the identification of organizational needs for change, defining SMART objectives, creating comprehensive change management plans, implementing effective training programs (e.g. UAT), and ensuring sustained integration of change into organizational culture

• Managing Resistance: Focuses on developing and executing effective communication plans, ensuring clarity of change messages tailored to diverse audiences. Additionally, it also involves identifying sources of resistance, implementing strategies to reduce it, facilitating transparent communication, building support coalitions, and celebrating successes in the team

• Analyze current business processes related to production planning and detailed scheduling.

• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in production planning processes.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement process improvements and best practices.

Process Design and Redesign:

• Develop and design future-state processes that align with SC PGA goals, best practices, and industry standards

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define process requirements, create process maps, and design processes aligned with SAP fit to standard

Process Optimization:

• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity

• Use Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies to drive efficiency and eliminate waste

Change Management:

• Facilitate change by effectively communicating process changes, benefits, and impacts to stakeholders

• Collaborate with the SC PGA leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth process transition and adoption

• Performance Measurement and Metrics:

• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of SC processes

• Establish reporting mechanisms to monitor process performance and identify areas for further improvement

Process Documentation and Training:

• Create and maintain process documentation, including process flows, blueprints, system navigation documents, and training materials

• Develop and deliver training programs to ensure effective understanding and adherence to new processes

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, IM, EWM, SD, QM) to ensure seamless integration and data consistency.

• Collaborate with IT teams to manage system upgrades, patches, and other technical activities.

• Partner with supply chain, production, and logistics teams to align SAP PP/DS functionalities with business processes.

• Provide expertise and guidance on SAP PP/DS capabilities, functionality, and best practices.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements within the SAP PP/DS landscape.

• Conduct regular system health checks, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality.

System Administration and Training:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business process flows, functional specifications, test cases, and user manuals.

• Provides training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using SAP PP/DS functionalities.

JOB SUMMARY:

Production Associate is under the supervision of Flour Mill Production Supervisor. Ensures that additive requirements of all brands are being met and all documented procedures are being followed.                    

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Flour additive dosing and control

1. Coordinates with the production supervisor on the flour to produce and additive to add.
2. Conduct feed rate per additive feeder as required in SOP.
3. Ensures that correct dosage of additive is being added to flour as per required by Feed Rate of Flour Additives given by QA.
4. Ensures that all additive feeders are running normally and accurately.

Chlorine Addition Micro

5. Ensures that the correct amount of chlorine is added for AP/CF and other flour requiring chlorine as per pH requirement set by QA.
6. Operate the chlorine addition facility. Ensure that all machines are running normally.
7. Ensures that all chlorine tanks are properly and safely closed during shutdowns.
8. Monitor chlorine header pressure. Ensure that actions are immediately taken when the chlorine tank is emptied.
9. Facilitate installation of spare chlorine tank when a tank is emptied.

Packing Operation

10. Checks and monitors flour blending ratio. Ensure that it complies with the formulation set by QA.
11. Take a random slick test on pack out flour to see if it conforms to the standard reference.
12. Conduct moisture analysis of flour as required by the sampling schedule. Record and submit to QA.

Inventory Management

13. Withdraws flour additives from QA Laboratory.
14. Maintains inventory records of on-hand additives and performs physical count.
15. Maintains inventory records of on-hand chlorine tanks.
16. Monitor daily usage and ensure that actual usage is the same with theoretical usage.
17. Ensures proper storage of on-hand additives.

Other Duties

18. Monitors CCP as per required in the quality plan.
19. Prepares the Flour Mill Associate's Report.
20. Ensures the cleanliness of the areas assigned.
21. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
22. Ensures compliance to food safety, good housekeeping and quality management system based on the standards of 5S, GMP, HACCP, Halal and ISO.
