As a Line of Business Expert for Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling under SC PGA have in-depth knowledge of SAP PP/DS, experience with production planning, and a strong understanding of business processes in manufacturing. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP PP & PP/DS solutions to enhance our production planning and scheduling processes. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, supply chain, and IT, to ensure effective and efficient use of SAP PP/DS to meet business objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
SAP SME:
SAP Support and Troubleshooting
User Support: Act as the primary point of contact for SAP PP/DS-related queries and issues.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP PP/DS solutions, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Collaboration and Escalation: Collaborates with others, such as SMEs, Module Leads, Consultants, or BITS team, to resolve complex issues that require specialized expertise
Any role with SAP access:
Ensure the accurate and real-time execution of tasks related to the process/es they are responsible for, including the recording of information and report generation in the designated forms and platforms (e.g. SAP)
Integrate with other parties/ functions whose processes are interfaced with their processes (to enable alignment, efficient flow of the process, and effective implementation of controls)

PM ERP Implementation Methodology: Leads the development and execution of detailed implementation plans for proposed changes in the system (e.g. change requests facilitation), monitoring progress against predefined metrics, and ensuring timely and effective adjustments based on evaluation findings. (Note: Applicable only to OpCM Reps - SMEs)
Leading Change: Guides the identification of organizational needs for change, defining SMART objectives, creating comprehensive change management plans, implementing effective training programs (e.g. UAT), and ensuring sustained integration of change into organizational culture

Collaborate with stakeholders to define process requirements, create process maps, and design processes aligned with SAP fit to standard
Process Optimization:
Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity
Use Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies to drive efficiency and eliminate waste
Change Management:
Facilitate change by effectively communicating process changes, benefits, and impacts to stakeholders
Collaborate with the SC PGA leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth process transition and adoption
Performance Measurement and Metrics:
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of SC processes
Establish reporting mechanisms to monitor process performance and identify areas for further improvement
Process Documentation and Training:
Create and maintain process documentation, including process flows, blueprints, system navigation documents, and training materials
Develop and deliver training programs to ensure effective understanding and adherence to new processes
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, IM, EWM, SD, QM) to ensure seamless integration and data consistency.
Collaborate with IT teams to manage system upgrades, patches, and other technical activities.
Partner with supply chain, production, and logistics teams to align SAP PP/DS functionalities with business processes.
