The Senior Application Developer is responsible for developing, documenting, and supporting standard and custom reports within the company’s systems for the clients. Industry standard tools will be used to develop reports. Interaction with the end user to establish report requirements will be necessary.

Tasks

• Perform the development, maintenance, internal testing of client dashboard (complex and non-complex).
• Develop demo dashboard, as and when needed.
• Support product development team by implementing new features to another standardization dashboard, as and when needed.
• Transfer of pilot data onto portfolio monitoring platform for prospective client demonstrations, identifying the visuals based on the type of data set.
• Define, execute, and interpret SQL queries. If needed, update data source query based on the client’s requirement.
• Review and create documentation for the dashboard.
• Support client, Client Services, and BAU Requests.
• Collaborate with Client Services to understand and troubleshoot dashboard issues and develop appropriate solutions.
• Identify new dashboard features, seek improvement and efficiencies in existing client workbook and process
• Lead/support/attend client meeting to understand detailed project requirements, understand business problems and provide recommendation.
• Communicate project status updates and recommendations.
• Follow Definition of Done and process around Azure DevOps.
• Conduct demo and/or Cosmos admin training.
• Provide buddy system with other developer.

Responsibilities:

TASKS / DUTIES

• Work with ERP Team in resolving NetSuite requests and issues in a timely manner.
• Provide NetSuite developer expertise utilizing industry experience, business analysis, best practices and logic to facilitate business requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues with scripted solutions and provide on-going support to optimize user adoption and NetSuite configuration.
• Identify business requirements, functional design, prototyping in sandbox, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support within the NetSuite system.
• Conceptualize, develop and test detailed designs for business solution components and prototypes within the NetSuite system.
• Undertake any additional reasonable tasks as deemed necessary.
• Support other departments as required.

Tasks

• Develop, maintain, and perform unit testing of internal reports and Cosmos dashboard (standard and complex).
• Define, execute, and interpret SQL/Snowflake queries. If needed, update data source query based on the client’s requirement.
• Create a conceptual representation of the data in SQL and Snowflake that is useful to Cosmos. Define the structure, relationship, and constraints of data understanding how data should be organized and used in a meaningful way.
• Transfer of pilot data onto portfolio monitoring platform for prospective client demonstrations, identifying the visuals based on the type of data set.
• Follow Definition of Done and process around Azure DevOps.
• Log time entries in NetSuite for BAU, change request, and other development activities.
• Perform Cosmos internal testing to ensure quality and compliance with the wireframe and mapping file.
• Review and create documentation for the onboarding client dashboard.
• Optimize workbook to ensure that best practices are being followed to maintain the performance speed of Cosmos.
• Communicate project status updates and recommendations to project manager, delivery solutions, and application development manager.
• Support client, internal, and BAU request/s.
• Build or maintain flow in Tableau Prep to upload data to SQL Server and Snowflake.
• Collaborate with Delivery Solutions team to understand requirements and translate then into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Develop demo dashboard, as and when needed.
• Implement new features to existing client dashboard, as and when needed.
• Identify new dashboard features, seek improvement and efficiencies in existing client workbook and process.
• Perform functional, regression, compatibility, performance, and/or security testing when application upgrades to newer version.
• Document any defects or issues found during testing and communicate them to the wider team.
• Lead/support/attend client meeting to understand detailed project requirements, understand business problems and provide recommendation.
• Create and/or maintain internal automation tool.
• Conduct demo and/or Cosmos admin training.
• Provide backup and buddy system to other developer.

• Performs code reviews ensuring best coding practices and the user-defined acceptance criteria are implemented.
• Prepare software documentation such as diagrams (UML, entity-relationship diagram, process workflow) and user guides
• Participate in meetings such as daily stand-up and sprint retrospectives.
• Creating, maintaining, and supporting complex jQuery task libraries
• Creating and managing SPAs to meet the business needs

A BIT ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent industry experience
• Minimum 5 years of solid understanding and strong UI/UX design and development (Angular JS, Node JS, React JS, jQuery)
• With knowledge of MVC application frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter 
• With knowledge in Test Driven Development (TDD)
• With strong knowledge in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3
• With proficiency in consuming REST web services.
• With proficiency in using source code version control (GitHub)
• With 3-year minimum working experience in an agile development adapting Scrum as a framework
• Comprehensive understanding on the business value of the assigned project to produce demonstrable incremental value for every sprint iteration.
• Breaking down large user stories into smaller stories adhering towards shared understanding, increasing the accuracy of estimation and tasks prioritization
