About the role

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend functionalities using PHP.
• Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and maintain WordPress plugins.
• Write clean, efficient, and secure code for various web applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to PHP code and WordPress plugins.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
• Stay updated on the latest PHP and WordPress development trends and best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on PHP and WordPress plugin development.

• 5+ years of experience in PHP development, with a focus on backend development.

• Strong proficiency in PHP and MySQL.
• Experience working with WordPress and developing custom plugins.
• Knowledge of WordPress coding standards and best practices.
• Familiarity with web development frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and version control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
