About the role

You will work with a team of front/back-end developers and QA engineers on our application tech stack consisting of MySQL, Java, Hibernate, and JavaScript, and help to create a new, modern front-end stack. Understanding existing business requirements and maintaining the codebase is a major part of the job, and your role in our effort to innovate better solutions and architecture will no doubt be both challenging and rewarding. Modernizing the web front-end experience and technology is vital to the company's strategic goal for the foreseeable future. You will partner with your team and business stakeholders to write, refine, plan, and implement stories and deliver production-ready features. You'll provide expert opinions, perform code reviews, and help foster collaboration, growth, and creativity.

You Will

• Master and maintain the existing codebase
• Deliver quality solutions on point and on time
• Collaborate with back-end developers and UI/UX designers to improve usability
• Optimize the applications and art assets for maximum speed
• Sustain a high degree of unit test coverage
• Design features that work well with all screen sizes
• Partner with QA to clarify testing criteria and fix bugs
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

• Work closely with game designers, marketing strategists, data analysts, and operations professionals.

• Experience developing with plain JavaScript
• Experience and good understanding of Angular and Strapi
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest, Jasmine, or similar
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• Ability to create CSS, either handwritten or with preprocessors
• Ability to create, edit, and optimize raster and vector-based art
• Understanding of layout aesthetics
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of the entire web development life cycle
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Bonus Skills & Experiences

• Developing high-traffic server products
• Ability to create wireframes in Figma

Responsibilities:

• Implement product features in C# according to business and technical specifications.

• Participate in agile development ceremonies and requirement gathering meetings.
• Follow established software development process to produce high quality code.
• Identify problems and suggest steps for improvement.
• Actively take part in technical discussions and code reviews. 

• Experience writing ASP .Net Core applications.
• Understanding of OOP fundamentals. SOLID Principles, Data Structures, Algorithms etc.
• Strong understanding of C# and .Net- CLR, JIT, Data Types, Common Class Libraries.
• Strong understanding of HTTP and Web services.
• Knowledge about RESTful services.
• Experience in using an ORM such as Entity Framework.
• Knowledge about common design patterns and good practices.
• Understanding of Relational or non-Relational Databases.
• Proficiency in Git version control and branching strategies.
• Ability to accept constructive feedback and take actions accordingly.
