At Octal Philippines Inc., we are on the lookout for a talented Cloud Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Administrator, you will be responsible for managing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring that our cloud-based systems run efficiently and securely. You will play a pivotal role in deploying applications, managing user access, and providing technical support. Your expertise will help maintain and optimize cloud resources, guaranteeing the highest levels of availability, performance, and security for our operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• IT Course or Bachelors Degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.

• Two to six years of AWS Cloud Systems Operation

• Web Application Deployment and Operations.

• Comfortable with the following technologies

AWS Services: VPC, AutoScaling, EC2, ECS, ELB, S3, RDS, CloudFront, IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty and ServiceHub

o Serverless compute using AWS Fargate

o Operating System: Linux and Windows

o Web Application Deployment (IIS, Apache, NginX) and .Net Deployment using AWS CodePipelines.

o Automation using - PowerShell, Bash Shell - Terraform and CloudFormation (Infra as Code)

Familiarity with the following technologies :

o Cloud: Azure

o Content Delivery Network (Akamai)

o DNS and Domain management (GoDaddy and Route53)

o Backup systems in AWS and services like Rubrik

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support the organization's network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Monitor network performance and conduct network assessments to identify and resolve potential issues.
• Implement security measures to protect the network from unauthorized access and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with IT teams to design and deploy scalable network solutions.
• Document network configurations, policies, and procedures for compliance and future reference.

• The candidate should be able to manage the downtime of network servers and links.  
• Be able to manage firewall, security and adhere to BSP IT requirements.
•  Good to have a banking background.
